Do you really want to have this happen
I have used these filters on 3 vehicles. The unit I used on a 2007 ACCORD and attempted to go twice as far on the oil using 2 of these instead of changing the oil caused a check engine light that was traced to the I-VTEC rocker actuator. The cause was a pressure differential across the actuator great enough to trigger the light. Changing the oil cured it.Based on that I would not recommend this filter if you are planning to double the distance between oil changes. I am going back to using Mobil-1, Wix or another top tier filter and changing the oil every 10,000 miles.

All seems good. The filter has some RUST
All seems good. The filter has some RUST.. Yes RUST on the base plate... Also the Filter has a date of 2013 on it. I hope a 5 year old Oil filter that has rust on it is okay.

excellent filters
I have used a number of different configurations of these filters and I am very impressed with the performance. Using the same oil in the same vehicle, the oil stays much cleaner much longer, even when compared to brand name super premium filters. The technology makes sense and the performance proves the theory. I recommend these filters. One thing I would recommend though is that microGreen would use a crossover chart to ease selection.

Great Filter, expensive but does what it says it ...
Great Filter, expensive but does what it says it does...my oil stays cleaner longer and I can change oil very comfortably every 8-10K miles. I use Amsoil Signature Series full Synthetic which is a great oil. Just clocked over 180k miles on my Honda Odyssey and I am getting the same full spec gas mileage as new (around 25 miles per gallon highway 22 miles per gallon around town). What not to like ?.

THE BIBLE FOR YOUR ENGINE LIFE
No automaker or filter manufacturer could offer this product on pain of being punished in future sales. But bear in mind that miles traveled have time. For normal and no fleet uses I suggest synthetic oils for 15,000 miles and change the MicroGreen filter at 7,500 miles, and then change oil and filter al 15.000 miles but do not exceed one year in time for both events

Filtering is now average since design change
The filters have changed and do not perform as stated. All spin on filters after 2012 are made in Mexico. We will not buy these again unless SOMS returns to the filtering promise before 2013. Charlie,UD where are you??
