Lots of extras you get with this power supply but even without them it's a great product
It does what you want and does it very well, but also gives you so much more for the money you pay. There are plenty of advantages over your standard Wall Wort type Power adapter, among which are: You get a digital display that shows the DC voltage output value, which is also what you use to set the desired output voltage level. The potentiometer is very smooth and not too tight, such that it's easy to achieve the actual voltage value you need. The output voltage is accurate to what is displayed on the display of the power adapter, and also it's easier to use than many of the standard AC/DC power adapters in that you have a long cord that gives you a nice tight plug to use to plug into the outlet verses several other Power Adapters on the market what contain the transformer within the plug that you plug into the outlet source. The vast and large selection of adapters that are included with the power adapter also mean that this is a multipurpose Power Adapter that you can use with several different devices requiring many different plugs. This means you only need one adapter rather than one for each device, or you have one adapter that works across several other devices. As long as you specify the correct amperage sufficient to operate all your different DC devices, you only have to make one purchase rather than many different ones.

Not too bad, but with some cautions
I bought two of these units. Their price was a bit higher than other units, but I wanted to see how well (useful) the LED readout worked and the large tuning knob. I also like the higher output amperage (power) to price ratio. And they received good ratings from many amazon users. My short suggestion (tldr) is:I'm cautious by nature, so I can only cautiously recommend these power supplies to people that don't have a voltage meter for checking the voltage that you want especially if the device you're powering is voltage sensitive.I tried two of these units and got some results that varied a little between the two (detailed, below).I've documented my observed voltages and anomalies, below, if you want more background on this concern of mine. But if you know what you're doing, and have measuring equipment, I think these risks are lessened.I haven't decided if I will keep them yet or not. Having my own volt meter, the RED LED readout on these units is a little redundant for me, but could occasionally come in handy if I remember about how far each unit is off from readout voltages. I will ponder. If you want to know other observations and details I documented, read on:* These power supply units have a very basic instruction manual. But at least they have instructions!* The instruction manual covers the topic of output polarity and the use of the polarity reversing cable (not an extension cable).* It takes several seconds after turning on before the readout lights up. And several seconds after you turn it off to stop delivering power (with no load attached). This is not a bad thing. Just an observation. This is also briefly mentioned in the instruction manual.* It seemed to me like the higher the voltage, the harder it is (the touchier the knob) to dial in the exact voltage you want. I found that when I needed ultra fine control, I could place my thumb on top of the knob (instead of grabbing the knob with thumb and index finger on the sides of the know), and have a little more control over minuscule movements to dial in the exact voltage I wanted. In truth, being 0.1 volts off isn't going to hurt most devices too much.* Having the knob be so touchy and easy to turn means that it will have to be used in a location where it wont be accidentally bumped / moved by pets / people.* Of my two units, the first one tested much closer to actual, indicated voltages, whereas the second unit was delivering noticeably higher .2v-.3v than built-in LED was indicating. I've listed voltages I observed in both units below. It's interesting to me the differences in voltage outputs between the two units. Of course the instruction manual covers this situation by stating that you should use a voltmeter to double check actual output voltages if you need finely tuned (accurate) voltage.* Sometimes, after setting and then not touching the knob for a short period, the built-in indicated LED voltage would wander a little bit. +/- ~0.1v. That's not horrible.* I'm disappointed that neither unit could deliver an actual 3.00v. Some 3v devices, like LEDs, are sensitive enough that 3.3-3.4v is too high. I'll have to go with a different power source for these applications.* These units have a 3-prong grounded AC plug (good).* Housing is firm, rectangular (plastic) with mounting brackets on either long end of the power supply.* I was pleased at the amount of different tips that came with the unit, although I probably wont be using most of them as I have a specific purpose in mind, but I like having the variety available to me in case I did need them in the future. I kind of wish they sold a unit without tips to save a couple of bucks, but I realize that's probably not feasible for market demand.* Their method of reversing the polarity is quite unique (to me). I am used to the old method of a switch on the unit to reverse the polarity, but instead, they're supplying a short connector wire that you can install in between the device and your tip that will reverse the polarity at the tip. Seems like a better method, to me, once you are aware that is what it is for.* I am concerned for others by the USB nature of this power supply; there are two included USB tips you can use: One male USB micro B and One male USB-C. However, no instructions I could find tell users that the 5v setting should be used for the USB tips. It would be unfortunate to accidentally select the wrong (higher) voltage when using the USB tips on a USB device.* I am pleased to see assurances of safety features on the box: "over voltage protection", "over-current protection", "short-circuit protection", "over-temperature protection", "fire-retardant outer shell", "Anti-EMI interference", but I dont have the resources to test that these are true.* Construction seems sturdy. I did not notice any defects. But I'm also not going to be stressing this unit.My output voltage observations:Unit #13.29v LED readout => 3.26v voltmeter4.50v LED readout => 4.50v voltmeter6.00v LED readout => 6.01v voltmeter7.51v LED readout => 7.52v voltmeter9.00v LED readout => 9.03v voltmeter10.5v LED readout => 10.54v voltmeter12.0v LED readout => 12.03v voltmeter13.5v LED readout => 13.53v voltmeter15.0v LED readout => 15.04v voltmeter16.5v LED readout => 16.52v voltmeter18.0v LED readout => 18.02v voltmeter19.5v LED readout => 19.51v voltmeter21.0v LED readout => 21.0v voltmeter22.5v LED readout => 22.5v voltmeter24.0v LED readout => 24.0v voltmeter24.5v LED readout => 24.4v voltmeter(24.5 is maximum for this unit)Unit #23.38v LED readout => 3.40v voltmeter4.52v LED readout => 4.58v voltmeter6.01v LED readout => 6.09v voltmeter7.51v LED readout => 7.62v voltmeter9.02v LED readout => 9.15v voltmeter10.5v LED readout => 10.69v voltmeter12.0v LED readout => 12.22v voltmeter13.5v LED readout => 13.81v voltmeter15.0v LED readout => 15.26v voltmeter16.5v LED readout => 16.82v voltmeter18.0v LED readout => 18.24v voltmeter19.5v LED readout => 19.78v voltmeter21.0v LED readout => 21.3v voltmeter22.5v LED readout => 22.8v voltmeter24.0v LED readout => 24.2v voltmeter(24.0 is maximum for this unit)FYI

Great Power Supply, Completely Adjustable
Works well - I have used it to replace a failed power supply for my TiVo. This will give you any power desired between 3 and 24 volts in .1 volt increments. You change the voltage by adjusting/twisting the knob on the top of the power supply. Note that it is very difficult to dial exactly the voltage you want since there are no steps to the adjustment. Sometimes a very little twist on the knob will give .4 volts or so difference.Pros:Completely adjustableGreat variety of tipsPolarity changes by additional cord, not just swapping a tip around!Cons:A little hard to adjust precise voltage, but for most things (especially at higher voltages), a half a volt (.5) or so won't make a differenceIf you are light sensitive, the light that indicates the voltage is bright red LED, and remains on all the time
