17 Pack Plastic Placemats, Heat Resistant Transparent Table Mat for Dining and Kitchen, 17 x 11 Inches

Just moved into a home that has a pretty good size pantry but it had wire shelving which I never had before, never wanted and I hate them. Gosh, why do they even put them in homes??? Jars and bottles don't stand up straight and things fall through. Awful. I saw these "place mats" and liked that they were not quite transparent but a sheer white and thought they'd be perfect to line the shelves. They worked GREAT. Easy to cut so they don't hang over the shelves and now things don't fall over or slip thru. And it looks great.AND...they stay in place--none have slipped even when pulling out a basket. Now I don't think I'll have the pantry re-done as I had intended.

This was absolutely a great purchase and exactly as described. Item is not flimsy at all, somewhat opaque rather than clear see thru. Used them to line vanity drawers, kitchen cabinets and frig shelves in a rental unit.

I bought these placemats to use underneath coloring sheets when we use alcohol markers. They work great.

They are thin but sturdy. However, only got 15 in the pack.

I bought the first package of these liners to place on the glass shelves in my new refrigerator. Moving jars and bottles around had scratched up the glass in my old fridge and I wanted to prevent that. I also cut them to size to line the shelves on the doors. These wipe clean quickly and easily. Next, I placed some on the shelves in my pantry when I figured out that the POP storage containers glide across these like a skater on ice. Eventually I lined every shelf in the pantry. Then I moved on to the kitchen cabinets. These do a much better job than any shelf liner I ever used and they are stiff enough to stay in place even when I am dragging (or pushing) heavy bowls across them. This was my fourth package and I am now lining all the shelves in both linen closets.My daughter bought a house with an enormous walk-in pantry that has floor to ceiling wire shelfs. She complained about how difficult it was to position things so they stayed upright. She wanted to hire someone to build wooden shelves but it wasn't in the budget right after buying the house. I suggested she use these to line the shelves. We attached them together with clear packing tape for those long shelves. She says it has made a world of difference and she was able to get motivated to really organize everything in there the way she had dreamt of doing.

I actually purchased these placemats to use as a drawer and shelf liners in my new kitchen cabinets. They look great since they are transparent. If anything spills I can just take them out and wash them.

I can't speak for these as placemats, but I love these for lining the shelves of my fridge. With kids in the house spills and messes happen. These make it really easy to keep things clean. Now instead of pulling the whole shelf to clean I can just pull the placemat where the spill happened, clean it, then slide it back in when it's dry.
