Anecdotal Aardvark Seven Cat Key Hook

I bought this as a gift for my in-laws and they really liked it. It is both functional as a key holder and a very cute decoration. The metal seemed like good quality, not sure how it could break like other reviewers mentioned but I'm sure its possible. When I bought it the price was $20, which considering the rather small size, I thought was a little steep. Now, at almost $30, I'm really not sure if it is a good value. Be sure to carefully read the description of the dimensions- it is just over six inches long and 3.5 inches tall. Each tail can only hold one key ring well, so if you have a larger family or a lot of keys, it might be a bit too small. Regardless, it was a great gift and I'll be watching the price because I wouldn't mind having one for my house too if the price drops down to the $20 range.

The mother of a friend had this same style wall hook in solid black. I tried to find that one but settled for this one. It is adorable. I find the tails long enough for my key chains and I have house and car keys dangling from the ring. My husband's keys fit just fine as well. If you are walking around with a janitor key ring or something ridiculous it might not fit, but I think for 'standard' key chains this will work just fine. My only gripe is the physical wall plaque is smaller than the one my friend's mother owns. It is sturdy and well made, I'd just have liked it a little bigger to add more OOMPH to the wall I put it on. But overall very pleased with my purchased and so happy to find it in amazon since it was sold out everywhere else.

This is a pretty durable item, it seems. It's heavy and I think it's made well. It's very simple to put up, and comes with the screws.I think the cat tails are close together, however, so your key rings will have to be smaller sized, and probably not bundled up with a bunch of extra tags/rings. I can hang my cat leashes off of these just find, but a bigger leash loop, like a dog's leash, may be too wide.I'm happy with my purchase because it works for what I need it for. Just keep in mind what you're looking for before you buy it.

When my wife and I moved into this house, years ago, there was already a Seven Cat Key Hook on the wallIt is attractive (visitors make nice comments) and handy, but our household now has so many more keys, that one of these units can no longer hold all the keys!Our original cat key hook is much older (at least ten or twelve years), and had to be cleaned of dirt and tarnish before we put both of the key hooks side-by-side on the wall, and have them match.My one criticism is that it should really be called a "SIX Cat Key Hook". The hook formed by the tail of KITTEN number seven is too small, and doesn't hold keys well.Amazon is really great for finding or matching oddball items like this. The biggest problem is picking search terms.

One of the tails had broken off during shipping, it was pretty poorly wrapped. Product is good though looked how I expected it to.Took 2 stars off for not coming with screws and for coming with one of the tails broken off because it was poorly wrapped.

Arrived broken. Very poorly wrapped. Would not buy from that seller again. We glued the tail back on & hope it won't break. I hang pot holders on it in the kitchen, it looks cute. Smaller than I thought it would be.

Very nice and substantial. All of the hooks are usable except for the far right "tail".

I ordered this for Christmas for my step mother and it looked very different from the picture but definitely for the better! It was very heavy and durable and seemed to be well-equipped to hold all of their keys and lanyards.I was skeptical at first because of some of the reviews but it seemed almost as if the seller listened to the things being said and created a better product. I am very happy with this purchase and I know she will cherish it for a very long time!
