An aid to good pulmonary health
I've bought about 6 of these. Like to change my furnace filter every 4 months. When I pull out the old one the evidence that this filter does a great job is evident on the intake side--a light grey coat of dust, etc. on the entire filter. This filter works. Definitely recommend the MERV 13 model.

Work great!
I can go a little longer with these than I could with a different brand. It’s great quality for the price.

Fine, if you get it in one piece
Easy to install but I had to return my first sample since it came so poorly packed (just laid on top of a couple of pieces of scrunched up paper, no top protection) and was beat up and torn. Bought replacements elsewhere and went with generics but these are decent filters, easy to install. Perhaps consider buying in pairs or bulk to help save on shipping risk.

Know the SIZE!!!
Actual size of filter, as stated on filter, is: 19-15/16 x 24-7/8 x 4-3/8. Why is that important? Read on!I am sooooo happy that the supply chain is re-establishing itself. During the pandemic, I could NOT order this Honeywell furnace filter. Not available!!! So I had to go to alternatives, that in retrospect were NOT acceptable (but I had to purchase nonetheless, not knowing what I know now). When I say NOT acceptable, I am referring primarily to the DIMENSIONS of the filter. This is the dirty secret (no pun intended) of ALL filters sold - numbers are rounded off, BUT fractions matter. Maybe the capability online to go into size fractions is not there?, but of course it makes a difference! In this particular example, the filter size is stated as 20 x 25 x 4 (but in actuality is 19-15/16 x 24-7/8 x 4-3/8). This fits PERFECTLY into MY furnace filter space. Larger or smaller - sorry, no go. AND THE KEY ISSUE IS THE HEIGHT!!!For example, during the pandemic I ordered aftermarket filters that said they were 4" in height (which is what my furnace says to use), but the actual height of the aftermarket filter was 3-1/2. Okay, so what happened? With this undersized filter, I heard a "banging" sound every time the furnace started (way too much excess height for the filter in its enclosure since my actual enclosure height is 4-1/2).I next bought a filter stated to be 5" in height since the 4" height was too small. What happened? IT DIDN'T FIT THE SPACE BECUASE IT WAS ACTUALLY 5X1/8!!! that is WAY too big. It didn't fit, so $$$ wasted. This year, the original Honeywell filter again became available once the pandemic run on filters was over. Hooray!!!BOTTOM LINE - CHECK YOUR FILTER BOX DIMENSIONS. PURCHASE THE CORRECT FILTER ACCORING TO THE EXACT SIZE OF YOUR FURNACE FILTER BOX. IF YOU HAVE OR CAN DOWNLOAD, CONSULT FURNACE FILTER INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR OPTIMAL FILTER DIMENSIONS. Good luck!

Commercial grade air filter for your home
I'm a retired HVAC contractor and I don't use generic air filters for my own home. This a commercial gradeMERV-13 furnace filter that has more pleats and is thicker than most knock-off air filters. "You get what you pay for" this is one of those essential household items you shouldn't skimp on. Feel free to compare it side by side to a non name brand filter and any layman will see the difference.

YES, THIS IS AUTHENTIC--Disregard the review that says "Not OEM" because it is the REAL DEAL!
I would like to make sure to clarify that I purchased this item and it is 100% Authentic, and it was not some blank, white, generic filter that didn't fit, or wasn't electrostatic, or whatever. It was the REAL Honeywell filter. When I went to buy, I was very concerned when I saw the one-star review claiming this was not as advertised. I almost contacted that user and told her to report the item because Amazon does not condone bait-and-switch type fraud on their site. I decided not to jump to conclusions and contacted the seller of this item (Filter Shipping Inc.) directly through Amazon messages. The seller replied very quickly (within an hour) to let me know this is in fact the brand name, authentic Honeywell FC200E1037 filter, and it will look exactly like the one I had that came with my new system, with all the same text and info on the side, etc. That is exactly what I got. I also got it EXTREMELY quickly (less than 24 hours later), even with standard free shipping. The filter is working as it should. Our geo system was overdue for a filter (pets sneezing, etc.), and a red light had gone on so we were much in need. New filter is now in place, red light is gone, pets are no longer sneezing, so it's working fine. Not much more to say, it's a filter.

OEM product; Better than electronic
Fits perfectly, OEM product.I replaced my Trane Clean Effects electronic filter, which stopped working, with the Honeywell 5” media filter. I have far less dust in my house now. This is way better than the electronic filter was even when it was new. This filter lasts up to a year and is far far less hassle to clean (replace) than the Clean Effects. Highly recommended.
