The capsules are larger than expected but not hard to swallow with liquids. There is a mild smell and taste to them. These seem to work like antacids. No negative effects have occured during use.

I got these because of my stomach issues. The older I have gotten the more food upsets my stomach. It does not seem to matter what I eat; I am always burping.I have been taking these for only a week, but I do think they are working.We had tacos and refried beans last night and normally I would have been suffering, but I really did not have an issue.I know it takes time for herbals to work but I feel like the results are happening and I am going to stay with these. I will update my post after a few weeks and let you know how it is going.Until then, five stars for my hope in resolving my stomach issues.

This bottle came sealed, fresh, and in date. You will need to check that none of the active ingredients interfere with any other medications you might be taking. I will have to use these long term to see if I notice a difference.

I would assume the active ingredient in these stomach acid capsules is the inflammatory MSM. There are a variety of other herbal extracts included as well, including chamomile, that may also help. Product labeling does warn not to take this product if you are currently on blood thinners, so important to check interactions before use.

Generally I drink organic apple cider vinegar in water with lemon but this is great for when I'm traveling.

The acidic stomach alkaline balance supplement that I received has a warning label sticker that states that "consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including Aloe Vera (non-decolorized) which is known to the State of California to cause cancer." I did not and don't see this disclosed on Amazon's ordering page. I also don't see disclosed on the packaging as to how much Aloe vera extract is in this supplement. I don't have enough knowledge to make an informed choice on the level of risk and for a 'health' supplement, I feel that any risk that is substantial enough to require a government warning (state or otherwise) is more risk that I'm willing to take. From reading the government data online, it appears to me that the risk could have been mitigated by the manufacturer by properly processing the Aloe vera extract. I cannot recommend this supplement.

This does help in settling my stomach. It cost more than my usual brand that works as well
