Sherpa Pink Gourmet Himalayan Salt - 20 lb. Bulk Bag Fine Grain

I have only good stuff about the product. It is very tasteful for starters. Also I can attest that since we first used this salt, we've observed how fast it helps clear some ailment; I had sore throat, gargled ONCE with it, sneezed away the rest of the day and by night, sore throat was gone; spouse had allergies with cough, started drinking and gargling the salt mixed with pure organic honey...and relief came within two days; also she used to have allergic reaction to egg yoke (when boiled) and has not experienced any repeat reaction since she started sprinkling the yoke with the salt before eating. Antibiotic or immune-boosting, I do not know but I suppose the salt is truly rich in trace minerals. Anyway, my family needs no further proof of the organic benefits of this salt. So we have cleaned out our entire kitchen and restocked it with Himalayan salt (recently ordered this 20 lbs of the salt to enlarge our stock) and not going back to table salt. Our friends have been requesting for it and all agree that, in our laymen's health opinion, this salt is the best and true to the hype. Final note: Importers, as consumers realize the many benefits of this salt please do not compromise its quality to maximize profit, but rather strive to keep this product pure, kosher and unadulterated. It is rich and helpful to the good health of the average joe (and family) in an era of weaken immunity and pollution of our food and environment. Thank you.

Good product so far. Just disappointed to see that "fine grain" is also a bigger size of grain. I wish I had ordered "Extra fine grain". So if you use it as table salt, you end up sprinkling more than you required. May be I need to grind some salt in coffee grinder and fill in salt shakers making it "extra fine grain" by myself. Later on I came to know that seller has posted photos with grain sizes but I did not see it. So I can say it is my fault. I have never tried pink salt before, trying this first time.I have lived half of my life in India, so I used to use Black Salt. This is almost same as it.

I have ordered Pink Himalayan Salt from San Francisco Salt Company a couple of times now. I love it! I use it everyday for multiple purposes. I use it to cook with. I use it as a softner in my laundry. I use sole on my skin and teeth and even in my hair. I have asthma and use it to help alleviate those symptoms. If you have ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding, it and coconut oil are my Windex. LOL! I had laryngitis and an upper respiratory infection a few weeks ago. I gargled with the sole and coconut oil and was better faster than the others in my office who had it. San Fransico Salt Company has the best Pink Himalayan Salt I have tried. I like the grain options ultra fine all the way for me.

Conventional wisdom lives on roller skates and where it happens to be at any given moment depends on where the most lobbying money is coming from. For that reason, I pretty much ignore the advice to lay off the salt consumption. I highly suspect that all that drama was generated by researching the health results of chemistry lab salt, anyway.We use this salt exclusively for cooking and table salt. We couldn't be happier. Probably why we are as old as we are and still drug free and still healthy!

I have been grinding my own Himalayan salt for years and since good grinders are hard to come by, I thought I'd treat myself to a bag of pre-ground. Apparently the flavor fell out in the grinding process because this stuff has no real flavor and I sure wish I hadn't bought the 20 lb bag.

Box too large for weight of product resulting is leaking salt from plastic bags. Salt has excellent taste, best I have ever used.
