Best 5th wheel setup out there
This setup is great. I have GN balls in the beds of both of my Cummins pickups. I custom built an under the bed setup for my '97 Dodge and my 2015 Ram has a B&W in it. Couldn't use the companion 5th wheel because of my custom setup in the older truck, but still do pull my 5ver with the old truck sometimes when we're camped close to home. Have done 5th to ball adapters, but they buck when pulling doubles and just aren't that great. This hitch is awesome. Easy to hook on to, easy to install on your trailer, and works on any gooseneck ball design in your bed. Honestly takes 5 minutes to throw in the truck. You'll want a torque wrench to be able to set it up properly.

Ram with mega cab AND rambox storage, solution!
I love this hitch, it allows me to configure it as needed to safely pull my 5th wheel (roughly 18k lbs 44' long) with a megacab (short bed) with ram box (narrow bed, 4' wide inside). If you're on the fence I can assure you that you won't be disappointed with this hitch at all. And in my case is really almost required to pull and turn as needed. I have to back into about a 90 degree configuration to get my camper into my driveway, and while I've never gotten out to measure clearances as I'm just trying to hurry and get it out of the road, I've never even gotten close enough to my truck to make my wife nervous enough to yell at me to watch it (I watch where the trailer is going to guide it, she watches the trailer vs truck to make sure I'm not about to "oops").NOW to be fair I also purchased a 4" offset to go under it and push it back more, we bought the camper 6 hours away, and made a 1 day round trip to pick it up, so I made sure I had enough clearance installed before we ever left. It pulled and backed so well I never went back to check and see if the extra 4" offset was required, and I have a feeling it's not. I will be doing some measuring soon to see if I can eliminate the extra offset safely, I have it there because I installed the "block" on the camper in reverse (kingpin in front of the hole for the ball), my reason for doing this was the bed width, it pulls the pinbox more into the other side of my bed when I turn, which makes sure that the higher back end of it is well over my bedrails. I will try to remember to come back and add pictures explaining why I'm set up this way, and if anyone in a similar situation has questions about it I'll be glad to walk them through what is needed, and how to hook it up as I have done.

Very Impressive hitch design
Have towed with it multiple times and really can't believe how great it tows! No sway or forward movement on stop and go.total control when pushing 75 mph. I tow with a F250 6.5 bed and do not have any problems with fifth wheel hitting truck fue to offset from Anderson set up. 2 thumbs up!!

pulls most excellent with no chucking or bucking
High quality, pulls most excellent with no chucking or bucking. Everything stays properly tight with this design. Andersen has great customer service and quality equipment.Install, rig and de-rig this equipment as fast and easy as stated. This is kind of one of those, "Why didn't I think of this design?" things. The forces and leverages are virtually no different than hooking up to a conventional 5th wheel hitch. This consideration was another factor that helped me choose this.I can handle it by myself whereas a 250 lb 5th wheel hitch is more or less going to sit in the back of your truck taking up room for a long time. I can have this installed or removed by myself in a few minutes and that's taking my sweet time.Watch their vertical hydraulic ram press destruction testing of this hitch, it's impressive and can hold way more than you would think. It would hold up a house. This was one of the factors that helped make up my mind. A unique design and thinking outside the box!

Excellent quality, welds are 1st class
Excellent quality, welds are 1st class. Tows my 34 foot 5th wheel with no problems and is the smoothest hitch setup I've used. I wish the 5th came from the factory with a gooseneck hitch setup, it is so much better tow with.
