I stopped drinking a couple of years ago, and I considered beer and spirits as something I would never taste again. I made do with HopTea, which I still drink, but it was my discovery of this non-alcoholic beer that turned the tables on me.I'm old enough that I remember O'Douls, which was the "popular" NA beer at the time. It tasted wrong and was overly sweet in the worst kind of way.Nanny State is the complete opposite. Yes, it's an IPA so you're going to get a nose and mouth full of hops, but it's also fresh, light and very easy to drink. The sweetness is not there, so even when the beer warms up it still tastes great.Highly, highly recommended, even if you're still drinking beer.5/5*

Brew Dog’s Natty State was tried for the Super Bowl to cut back on calories and alcohol. Unfortunately, I did not like the way it tasted. There was some taste in it that just was too different for me.

I like a variety of beer: pale ales, lagers, stouts, porters, etc. The main problem for me is that I REALLY like beer, so in effort to cut back on alcohol and calories I tried a few non/low alcohol beer, most of which were too sweet, too thin, too malty or just plain bad. Enter Brewdog! This Nanny State AF is hands down the best tasting, most satisfying near beer I’ve had. Its like a slightly hoppy lager, deep copper color, a hoppy nose, but not like a big piney IPA, and a dry crisp finish. At only 21 calories (I don’t know how they do that!) it checks all of the boxes for me. I will continue to drink this while periodically cycling in a couple of higher ABV beers.

I really disliked the after taste.Do not recommend.

I am a social drinker, and I enjoy beer. But, as we have grown older, I have several friends who had decided that drinking alcohol isn't for them anymore. These friends still enjoy the taste of beer - but not the way it leaves their body feeling the next day. Through these friends I have tried several alcohol free/non-alcoholic beers- and most of them I will never try again.But not Brewdog- Brewdog 'Nanny State' taste like a regular beer - a little hoppy, good flavor, something that will satisfy your cravings in a healthy way. I can drink one of these at lunch without feeling like I am breaking my office alcohol policy.It is a win/win all the way around.

Nanny state is a slightly hoppy golden ale, and the Punk AF is a more tropical-hinted IPA. Both very good NA options, I'm working on trying as many low-alcohol beer options as I can get shipped to me and these are top of the list. Made in Ohio, I live in Pennsylvania and shipping took no time at all, had it on my doorstep in a couple of days.

I didn’t like the taste but others did

This beer taste flat, it says hoppy but it has none. Plus, when I got it one can had a hole punched in the side. So, it leaked all over. If, I could return the rest I would. No hops! They said, "hoppy" but nope, not there...
