These are awesome
The sound on these is phenomenal, the fit is excellent, the case really works great for charging and carrying and storing. I can wear these all day in the kitchen listening to a book or music, and easily take phone calls and still move freely about. Such a great gift I bought myself!! I also have the Angle blue tooth speaker which I love, and a pair of the ear buds with a cord I had before they came out with these . Highly recommended.

Good sound quality and overall good ear buds.
I like the Oontz, (not a fan of the name),products and have a couple of their speakers so I thought I’d try their earbuds.Pros:-Sound quality is great.-The noise reduction on/off feature is nice.-They are very comfortable and the different size covers work well.-They hold a charge for quite a long time even through all day use.-The call quality both hearing and speaking on calls is very good.-Bluetooth pairing was super easy and they stay connected for much further away than advertised.Cons:-The touch controls are VERY temperamental, 3 taps to skip a song usually ends up activating Siri. Answering a call or ending a call with taps is very difficult.-The charging case is cumbersome and the buds don’t sit well in there without messing around with them. Several times I’ve put the buds in the case only to hear music still coming out of my pocket because they weren’t seated quite right in the case and were still connected. The last 2 issues aside, these are great earbuds at a nice price point. If not for these 2 things it would easily be a 5 star review.

Noise cancellation doesn't work
I am disappointed that ANC as advertised on this product doesn't work at all; only passive background sounds isolation. The "Quiet mode" [ANC] software makes no difference to the sound quality and background noise. I have other products where the difference is clearly noticeable. The passthrough mode increases the volume of the outside world, but not significantly. The sound quality and ear fit are fine.

By far superior to the standard OontZ BudZ
I just got these to upgrade from Cambridge's standard BudZ, well worth the price difference, I'd say the regular budZ are obsolete now.The regular ones never stayed in my ears no matter the cushion size, so I decided to try these to see if there was anything special about the "air-pod-esc" design. Yup, they are way better. The stereo sound is great and immersive. These ones actually work independent of each other. The original budZ I have only the right one actually pairs with BT and the left just chains to the right channel, so the left bud could not be used independently.Hi-fi, great mixture can hear all sound ranges clearly. I've seen complaints about the bass not being strong, but heavy electronic bass just sounds like crap in general, it's not the earbuds. Low frequency hi-fi comes through loud and clear.

Disappointed
Wanted to love these - I really like my Oontz portable speakers, but these are a mixed bag. Are they terrible - no. Are they good - no.So the bluetooth connects easily and quickly - no fuss. This is LIGHT YEARS ahead of other cheap buds I have had. No drops - again light years ahead of others I have had. Plenty of positive points for this! The fit - I don't like things in my ear, so I took off the silicone cover - but found it was pretty loose, so I put it back on. It is minimal in length, and really doesn't bother me. It also helps a lot in retaining the bud. The buds are a bit on the larger size, but still fit OK. They are also not small overall - both in length and thickness. I think the sharp edges and the stick-out from your ear make wind noise that much worse. The case is fairly big - no reason it has to be. The in-ear Oontz buds have a case about half the size.So sound quality. Not good. On the verge of being terrible. No bass whatsoever. It sounds like a small portable AM radio by your ear. Not quite the "inside a tin can" sound that really really bad buds give you, but close. My standard buds are foam wrapped (not silicone) Sennheiser MX365 buds (wired). They sound good. They don't have the advantage of silcone seal to the ear, but still have plenty more bass. I did a quick informal test using a tone generator to see where the frequency roll-off is. The Sennheisers rolled off around 65hz. These at about 110hz. By 55-60hz, there was almost no detectable sound at all. So clearly the drivers are incapable of low frequency output. If I set up a test, I'm sure the frequency response is steadily rolling off towards that 110hz - not like it a cliff at the 110hz point. Now that said, I'm not looking for pounding bass - in fact I hate that overcompensated type of sound. I just want to hear a full range - and these really do not deliver. That said, the imaging is not bad - nice sound stage. They are probably quite good for voice calls based on the frequency response. Then there is the noise compensation. Not good. Minimal effect, and hardly noticeable. Trust me, I have plenty of NC headphones - these you wouldn't even know that they are if they didn't tell you. To make things worse, the "pass thru" mode somehow ADDS white noise in the background. How does that help? How does that make it "pass thru"?So like I said - mixed bag. If you were looking for something good from Oontz because they did such a good job on their portable speakers - well they missed the mark with these - by a lot.Sidenote: the in-ear buds also suffer from severe lack of bass - but are cheaper.

Seem great until you listen
I bought these to use inside of a motorcycle helmet which I was very happy they could be. The ear buds seem well built, are comfortable, and easy to use. BUT, the sound absolutely terrible. Zero bass and overall just awful sound. Think, those cheap one time use ear buds you get on an airplane. I was really disappointed because I have 2 bluetooth speakers of the same brand and they sound great.

Amazing for the price
You get more than you pay for. Got these to use during planning periods at work. Will they be as great as my pricey JBL buds? No. Will they be swiped by a student if I leave them on my desk? No. Exceptional sound quality for the price. Great noise cancellation. Battery life is amazing at any price.
