Easy to install. Great product for the price. Everything works well and I love the synthetic rope. Only down side was it did not come with a winch plate to mount the solid aluminum winch face onto. I had to purchase that from rockauto for $40. The control box on-top has heavy cords sticking out of the back and I had to either drill more mount holes in my Ranchhand bumper or cut a chunk out of the Jeep grill. I chose the grill mod since it was way cheaper than the bumper.

Package arrived on time. Securely packaged. Both box and contents were undamaged. All necessary hardware was included. I purchased an aftermarket bumper for my 2003 TJ jeep wrangler. The bumper provided a winch plate a platform to mount the winch. I mounted the winch on the bumper before mounting the bumper for ease of access to mounting bolts. Very nice looking winch came with two wireless remotes and one corded remote.Both wireless remotes seem to be paired to the unit right out of the box there was no pairing or coding needed to be done they worked beautifully. Also pleasantly surprised about the range of the wireless remote which was approximately the same range as the winch rope itself. I figured I would test this winch out by trying to pull a tree out of my front yard lawn that was coming down anyway. Put a lot of stress on the winch so much so that it decided to drag my jeep out of the street and up onto the sidewalk apparently I underestimated how deeply the tree was rooted! The winch performed wonderfully! Stayed mounted nicely never seem to be at a loss of power the cordage stretched nicely with no issues. Only thing that could be improved would be including a cover for the winch. However problem solved for $12 Amazon sells a quality winch cover that fit perfectly. Also all included electrical cables were adequately long enough to reach my battery with no issues at all. Directions were very clear everything was included very please so far

Easy install. Power cables were just long enough. A few more inches would have been nice. I luckily haven’t had to use it yet. I was very close to using it though.

This is a provisional 5 star, as has not been tested, but soon will be on a 2-week rock-climbing trip. So far, impressed with dual remote and wire controls already installed, ability to divorce and remote mount solenoid pack from winch top, and synthetic rope, all important features for me. As far as i can tell from physical appearance and specs, this winch is identical to at least five or six others costing more. We will see.

Try pull a 3600 pound car up on trailer and the so call cable is a rope that is dry rottieing away it not any good the rope is dry rotten it won't even pull a car ,3600 on flat ground to the trailer
