Fit my older HP laptop perfectly, snaps in the same as the original battery. No binding or weird issues.Completed some full charge/discharge cycles as instructed. Glad I did because at first, the laptop seemed confused about how much battery life it was supposed to have. Stayed at near 0% for an hour before shutting off. But then eventually sorted itself out.Pro tip: be sure to disable power savings or keep it awake by watching a DVD to ensure the laptop fully drains and doesn't hibernate or go to sleep instead. After it dies the, power it back on (if it will let you) and enter the BIOS (look up the key combo online for your laptop). Let it sit in the BIOS screen as long as it can until it dies again. This way you know it's completely discharged, then plug it into corded power. Boot it up again and let it fully charge. Rinse and repeat a few times.So far this battery holds a charge well and runs the laptop for at least 2 hours now while watching a DVD movie. This is an older laptop, not capable of more modern gaming or anything like that. I don't even have it hooked the internet. So I didn't stress test it any further.My primary use for this old laptop will be reading codes and programming cars. So it needs a good battery out in the field. It will never see any heavy usage. Time will tell if it lasts. Since I won't be using it every day, I like to remove the battery and store it outside the laptop when I am done using it. So far it stays topped off once removed. Leaving it in seems to drain it a little bit each day. I also don't recommend leaving it plugged in and charging 24/7. I think that will also shorten the life. I think that's what killed the original one prior to my ownership.I wish it had the "test" button and bar graph like the original OEM battery. But it does not. Perhaps that's too much to ask for at this price point.

This was easy to install. I just followed the directions with charging and letting it completely run down and recharging, alternating this about 4 times as directed on the instructions. I am very pleased with the quality and effectiveness of this product as well as the fair, affordable price, simple directions and fast delivery. I have had this for a couple of months now and so far this is a great battery for my laptop.

Lasted for a good long time during uses until two months shy of a year. When I went to see what was involved with getting it replaced under warranty, there were too many hoops to jump through.. We would have to pay postage to send it ground hazardous materials to have them test it and if they deemed it still good we would pay to have it sent back. By then it would cost me the same as if I bought a new battery. If it had failed in 90 days, they would have paid to take it back. The warranty on it should be stated as 90 days, then? Decided to spend the money toward a new battery from another company.

Perfect fit for a HP Pavilion G4 Model 1318DX. The old battery was a model MU06/HSTNN-UBOW & this was the closest replacement I could find with the same voltage (10.8V) & mAh (old 4200mAh vs new 4400 mAh). This battery is rated 48Wh & the old battery was 47Wh. The laptop is a hand-me-down & the old battery did not charge at all so unfortunately I have no way of knowing how the battery life for this compares to that of the old one during normal use. Using it for a week now & no issues experienced so far. Battery life is a okay & gives me about 3 hours of use whilst surfing & working on documents. The laptop is not used for gaming.

The Battery works perfectly, but I noticed it only charges to 90%. Strange, but better than keeping my laptop plugged in.

This replacement battery was easy to install an is working good.

I replaced the battery in a HP-2000-2d27DX which was giving my only 15-20min of time....I then started to get a battery error message each time I booted. This new battery looks like I can get about 1.5 hours of use (no gaming) which is about the same as the original HP battery. Great to not need to be plugged in all the time.

Doesnt hold a charge anymore!
