This book has multi-cultural spice mix recipes.
This has 50 spice mix recipe that has Italian seasoning, other European Seasoning, Indian Seasoning, Asian Seasoning, African Seasoning, Middle Eastern Seasoning, North American seasoning, & Dessert Seasonings. I was not expecting it to be multicultural. A very pleasant surprise. Y’all need this book. It’s great.

Spice book
I love using different spices for things and it is cheaper making your own, instead of buying it premade.

Disappointing
It's a decent book, but with the raving reviews, I was expecting more, I guess. There are a number of things that could have been fixed with a better editor. The author's name is nowhere to be found on the book - which actually feels like a mixture of contributors rather than a single author. Some of these contributors are probably from the regions of the spice blends - which is good, of course, but editing to make sure the English works better would be helpful. In the pizza seasoning, there is a second mention of cornstarch (for later), but it never gets to later to tell me when that is supposed to be used. Several recipes indicate that it yields "a small jar" or "a large jar" which isn't super helpful. The bouquet garni gives instructions as to how to build the bundles and pack them into a jar, but nothing after that... Is it supposed to go into the fridge? Lots of situations like this where the recipe is missing that final piece - making it almost feel like an AI concoction, which makes me wonder if I can trust the recipes at all.Okay book, but while it *might* be okay for kitchen use, I have doubts now. I'm going to have to buy another book.

handy!
great book! It's cheaper and tastier to use fresh whole spices and make your own mix. And it's very valuable to know what's traditionally in any spice blend. This book is very handy. And it's certainly worth the asking price of 99cents!
