The units were installed about 10m apart without line of sight and 2 walls between the transmitter and television. The video input was 1080p at 30mhz with audio and IR pass back. They were easy to set up and they worked for about 3 weeks without issue. The audio was good and for normal programming the video was good, but for a program with allot of motion the picture struggled to refresh. The video stopped working after about 3 weeks so I cannot give the units a passable rating.

I thought that it would of worked better for the cost i paid.

you can change the channels on the transmitter , but they don't work very well , I am using on sattlelite receiver.

I literally just plugged it in and it worked beautifully. There are some configuration options that can be changed via the web-interface that it creates on it's own wireless network- But I didn't need to do this to make proper use of it. The delay is very minimal and while I probably wouldn't use it for gaming, it's perfect for my use-case where I have a Media PC in one room and a TV in another. I have a steam-link that I've used which occasionally has trouble with signal quality and would sometimes stutter or drop connection but this little unit put in the same place hasn't had that problem and the signal has remained stable and clear. I also don't have to have anything specific running on the media PC and fuss with connecting/disconnecting which makes this a much better solution for me.Image quality lost a point because the unit introduces some slight but noticeable chromatic aberration on small anti-aliased text. The affected text is still perfectly readable and the chromatic aberration is not noticeable at all on larger text or in pictures or video. To be honest, you won't even see it watching videos with subtitles or closed captioning, only when working with 1-pixel wide text. I didn't notice any drop in audio quality compared to a direct connection.Overall this Wireless HDMI Extender is a great product and I'm happy with it. It could be a little better, but it suits my needs. I really wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

After hooking it up and using it for a while we find it can’t keep up when a busy picture and lots of movement like sports, hockey is hard to watch it digitizes badly as it can’t keep up. Also it’s freezes a lot. Need to unplug and reset about every third day. One other thing is the RF repeater seems to send 2 signals, if you push a number for a channel. So instance of you want to watch channel 5 you’ll get 55. Very very annoying.

Read some negative reviews before I purchase and I still give it a try. Actually it is ok, not perfect but I can accept it. I can see a bit latency but it's acceptable, at least I dont need to hard wire my HDMI across my living room.

I was impressed with how small and simple to use. I simply connected and from the living room to the kitchen, both tv's were in sync. From my living room, down the hallway to a open kitchen. No freezing of any kind. I just saved on a second reciever from my provider. Ilico Videotron. Even the Ilico remote works in the kitchen. I set to 5Ghz, for best video.
