Helping hands
I bought the cheapest one I could for a one time project. Its not very stable, I hot glued it to my work bench. The adjustments are crude and a bit of a challenge for my big paws. It did the job I needed it for.

Why did I Wait So Long?
I'm 57. For years I have become frustrated trying to solder things together. I really don't know why I waited 40 years to buy one of these. All those little fiddly jobs are no a breeze, and I get much better soldering joints because of it.Don't procrastinate, just buy it! You'll be glad you did.

Top heavy, but functional.
It can't hold a ps4 controller board without wanting to tip over. Secure it at the bottom and it does its job.

Flimsy
Base isn’t as heavy as it could be so it can topple kinda easily. The thumb screws are weak which can make the arms wobbly and unstable. The magnifier lens frame is loose and likely won’t hold up to continued use.

This item worked good. Everything was as I expected. The only downside to this product is that it could have a heavier base. That one thing would rate this product 5 stars.
