I was pleased with the value, the speed with which it was delivered, and the product itself. I’ve used it only once so far, but the laminator did a very good job. For those who complained about not getting the corner rounder, they may have gotten it and didn’t know. I thought I had not received mine, but it is stuffed into a cutout in the styrofoam ends holding the machine in the box. There is also a spare cutter blade in that cavity. It is not the first thing you notice, so please inspect the packaging very well before assuming it’s not there. I was getting irritated until I turned it just right and noticed it there.

This is a great product. It is very user friendly and comes with laminating sheets, a paper trimmer. as well as a corner trimmer.It heats up pretty quickly and is fairly quiet. I noticed in the second use a cranking sound, what I assume were the roller movements but it has since then stopped without resumption. It does have a distinct smell, as most equipment with a heating element does, but nothing to go on about...and I have a very sensitive nose.I usually trim down the things I laminate so it’s not a big deal, but sometimes (when not placing a single project to laminate in the film) it takes a sec for the film to catch since you have to use one hand to support the lower half of sheet..and because the top edge is exposed to the heat while you figure it out, the edge comes out curled. When that happens I simply put the sheet back in after 1 pass, but I place the uncurled edge in first and the heat “irons out” the curl on the opposite edge. I will probably make a tray that sits level with the in-feed for faster alignment. All in all at this price point and my level of usage (pretty casual) I find it quite adequate and I would recommend this product.

It works for both hot and cold laminating although I’ve only used hot with it there is a small thin paper cutter which is fantastic because that was part of the reason I would laminate at FedEx because of their paper trimmer there. There is also a thing to round corners so you can have nice rounded edges very easily. It is easy to use and works great. The lamination came out perfect.The pouches that came with it are the thinner lamination so you might wanna pick up the thicker ones if that’s what you prefer.It is easy to use!

Having two children I’ve needed something to laminate important documents. I’ve always he’s rotted because of the expensive price. I saw this and thought let’s give it a shot. The laminator itself is very well made. The directions are very easy to follow and installation to PC Is even more simple. The laminate comes out so smooth and shiny. It also comes with a great measuring tool to get exact cuts and measurement. No better value for your money on machine like this. Can’t wait to see what else we can laminate.

Many years ago (30+) I bought a cheap laminator to beat the exorbitant prices my local stationer charged. It worked BUT, from the start I had to run everything through it a few times - it left little bubbles - it took forever to heat up - it made a lot of noise - it was only 4.5" wide. It started getting worse and worse just recently.The Toyuugo is much wider, warms up quickly, performs heat laminations beautifully on a single pass and is as silent as an expensive watch winder I received for a birthday present. It feels good and solid when you set it up on your work surface seeming to be a genuinely professional piece of equipment.The kicker is that it came with more than enough lamination sheets of various sizes to meet all my immediate needs. I ended up buying it because it costs just $9.00 more than the package of photo sized lamination sheets I went online to buy, in the first place. The old one I replaced cost $10 more in 1989 than the Toyyugo cost in 2021 dollars.The overall quality is amazing! I don't know about longevity as I just got it today but I expect durability to outshine my previous laminator since it surpasses the old one on every point.

As a teacher I can honestly say that this laminator works really well. I remember the huge rolls of laminate at school and how inconvenient it was to use and all the plastic laminate that would be wasted. The little laminate pouches are a game changer. I can’t believe it’s so affordable too! I also love the paper cutter it comes with. It made it so easy to measure and cut all of my laminating projects. Very happy with this purchase!

THIS IN THE BEGINNING HERE IS A MORE RECENT EDITION TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW FOR THIS MACHINE ...IT HAD COMPLETELY JAMMED AND THIS MADE IT SO I CAN NOT USE IT AGAIN BECAUSE THE JAM RELEASE BUTTON IS NOT WORKING AND IT STILL HAS AN ITEM OF MINE STUCK IN IT. IT STARTED GRABBING THE LAMINATOR PLASTIC SHEETS AND WINDING THEM AROUND THE ROLLER BAR AND NOT COMING OUT. THE WEEK BEFORE IT STARTED TO LAMINATE LEAVING A VERY CURLED END ON ALL SHEETS....SO NOT A STRAIGHT FLAT SHEET. ALSO WRINKLES BEGAN TO OCCUR HERE AND THERE. THE NOISE I COMPLAINED ABOUT WENT AWAY MUCH LATER BUT THEN A BURNING SMELL STARTED TO OCCUR. THERE WERE TIMES IT WOULD NOT EASILY TAKE THE LAMINATING SHEET EASILY AND I HAD TO WORK AT IT ACCEPTING IT INTO THE MACHINE AND THEN MANY TIMES WHEN IT DID IT FOLDED THE LAMINATING SHEET AND CREASED IT AS IT MELTED IT.BELOW IS MY OLDER REVIEW:Makes an abnormal noise. The laminated results randomly turn out good; there needs to be some kind of "guide" directing the sheets into the narrow opening for a letter sized item. Without the guide on each side of the sheet helping it to go in straight, it is easy for the sheets to turn and become 'crooked' which ends up creating a mess in the laminating process and product that is not smooth. The paper cutter that came with the unit is hard to use, does not cut well and the design is one that makes it hard to see where the "cutting" line is....it does not stand out. The laminating sheets that came with the unit...mostly the larger ones....would not fit an regular sheet of printer paper; too small. Overall, just a poor "cheap" quality item! Disappointed I paid so much expecting a great higher end product but got something that I way over paid for!
