Ice pack with versatility and reliably!
This Cold Pak is SO easy to use! The velcro straps make holding it in place a breeze. It maintains it's "chill" for hours before needing to be refrozen. The Coldest Pak's versatility is also amazing..I can use it around my neck securely, around my back, a leg or an arm, or over my shoulder....the uses are endless. As a migraine patient I also use it on my head, which is how I use it most frequently. I've tried a number of ice packs...this has been the one I've been the most happy with.

The Best Cold Pack EVER!
If you are looking for an amazing cold pack this is the one you need! It is perfect! The size is just right, it stays cold, it has a stay in place strap and it is soft enough to apply to those hard to ice places.

Pain at the head of my right Femur
I had my typical "no workout + a lot of sitting" pain in my right leg that made it difficult to walk. As typical I put on the heating pad and stretched and rolled. This time all that didn't work. Sitting in a recliner I noted that there was one spot that actually hurt the most, the head of my right Femur. I hobbled over to the freezer and took out my newly purchased "The Coldest Ice Pack" I could easily move it to any position and with get the cold on using the velcro straps. I originally bought this for my newly acquired trigger thumbs, works great for that too. It stayed cold enough long enough for me to move it to various locations. Viola I could now to a leg cross over, which I was not able to do just a few minutes earlier. Cold is great for inflammation relief, and these days that is a big topic. Hot is good for what hot is good for, but you do need Cold in the tool box too. This product is a great addition to that tool box.

Adequate for my needs
Stays cold. I'm not sure where the folks who are having issues with it remaining cold are using this. I had it on for 30 minutes and when I took it off there was still frost on the exterior. The gel was pliable, but still quite firm when I put it back in the freezer. Unless this is being used in the heat, I can't see it losing its cool. For example, if it were used on a day over 90º, and out of the shade, it might make sense so keep that in mind.I agree with the other folks who have criticized the length of the band. I'm smack dab in the middle of "normal" for the height and weight chart the good ol' Army, and Rush University so I'm not an anomaly weight-wise, and I'm 65" (or so). I had to pull the belt ends fairly taut to get the pack situated around my thoracic region (the ribs) to where the pack wouldn't slip. I fear that over time the elasticity will wear out and I'll be tying the ends together instead.Getting it around neck and shoulders is going to be a trick; however, once I warmed it up with my back, I moved it up to the neck because it was more malleable and I could kind of shape it. It still wasn't ideal, but I at least got some relief. Instead of a towel I used an old tank that I cut the top off of. I put that on and could move it up or down to where the ice pack was going to be. It worked better than a towel - they're too thick. I could put another cut up tank on top of it to really hold it in place, I suppose, which would mean I could release the tension on the belt a little. It would also soak up some of the moisture that accumulates on the outer casing.

Changed the amount of gel inside?
Def don’t reccemond this one anymore. This is my second one-as I misplaced my other one in a move. Bought my first one mid COVID and it was a life saver! But, this one is terrible. Barely stays cold for 15 minutes- so if you have multiple areas on your body you’d like to ice you’ll have to refereeze it. As a busy mom, I don’t have time for that. lol After reading other reviews stating the same thought I’d take a chance. But, I wouldn’t order this if i were you. Love the Velcro! But, that’s about it.

Great product!
The Coldest Ice Pack has been the perfect product for my total knee replacement. I, too, have used many cold packs. But these are the best. The cold pliable gel allows a certain amount of conformity around the knee. Over the course of using these guys I have discovered the gel is also movable. There are three bladder chambers and the gel can be squeezed from one bladder to another thereby concentrating the cold. They do last about 20-30 minutes which is adequate. However, I did purchase two in order to alternate.I have never had to heat these for use as heat therapy, however, I will say on occasion I have worn these to bed cold and waking up in the morning there is a certain amount of comfort/therapy with this product at body temperature. And the best part is, they are still where I put them the night before, thanks to the elastic Velcro straps.Overall, a well thought out product.

Awesome but not well made
Love everything about it other than the quality of the band/velcro. The ice freezes quickly. It's made to use easily in multiple areas and it is. My only negative, though a big one, is the waist band began shedding? Loose strings getting caught in the velcro and eventually pulling........as if the one string just keeps going and going. As I said, I love everything about it but because of the quality, when this has disintegrated to the point it's time to replace, I will probably investigate alternate manufacturers.

Good, but...
I can't say it's any longer lasting than any other gel cold pack, but it does what it needs to. I would have liked a longer strap, as I am plus size and I could only barely secure the strap and it was very uncomfortable - ended up not using the strap at all.Otherwise, not a bad product; if you don't mind the price point, go ahead and buy.

Good product, good heat distribution, straps maybe too long for thin limbs
These are good, the segments of gel help it stop getting stuck down in one useless area {distributes the cold across the whole pack, all the time). My onky gripe (and its a small one) is that the staps are too long for my skinny arms and need to be wrapped around twice, not too comfy. Would be nice with adjustable straps maybe?
