Glad I bought it
I read a lot of bad reviews about this but I haven't had any issues with mine. I bought it to make powdered donut holes & it did great. No problems.Since then I've also made blueberry muffin bites & cinnamon donut holes. Very quick cooking & easy to clean. I'm glad I bought it.

much better
This is an upgrade from a lower wattage cake ball maker.Spend the 💰 for the extra watts: it's worth it.Wonderful cake balls, cornbread muffin balls, gingerbread balls, awesome pound cake balls.PS the awls work great as skewers to pop the balls out of the iron.

Good
We struggled a little bit with the cake pops, but we make pancake balls with us all the time

Does not work.
This product is a bust. It was a Christmas gift and we finally turned it on for Valentine’s Day treats. Followed the instructions to the letter, including batter recipe. After more than 3 hours of trying, we had nothing to show but flat half cooked cake balls that would not cook from the top. We adjusted the amount of batter, the cooking time, waited and cooled the cake pop maker in between batches, and still nothing changed. Terribly disappointed. Understand it is too late for a return, but hopefully this experience will help someone else. 0 stars.

Wow. Just wow.
This thing makes it SO easy to make cake pops. You create your mix, add it to the maker (but don't overfill), close the lid, and three to four minutes later, there's the cake pop. I took it to my sister in law to ask for her help and expertise. She was so helpful and was also really impressed about how easy they are to make this way. She has made many the traditional way and was won over by this machine. We made about 100 with the first batch of mix and they were a big hit. We coated half in white candy melt and the other half in chocolate. They were moist and yummy. The kids loved them and helped us eat them all. I probably will buy another one to make cake pops for various events coming up. I did not have any of the issues mentioned by other people. Making cake pops was super easy using this thing and I would suggest it to anyone looking to make them. Buy this thing. Seriously. I didn't even have to spray it with non-stick spray and it was super easy to clean. This is the best thing ever.

Idk what’s up w the reviews, it’s not bad
So these were my testers to see how much I needed to put in, how long it took ect. Unfortunately I didn’t realize that I was out of eggs before I started but I read you could you a mashed banana in replace of it so that’s what I did (I’ll for sure use eggs when I’m making the real deal, bananas make it taste like banana blueberry muffins lol kinda weird) I sprayed some Pam on the top and bottom to ensure they wouldn’t stick & about 10 minutes later they were cooked & came right out when I poked it w a tooth pick. I read to use water so it wouldn’t be too dense but honestly milk would probably work too. It doesn’t alert you when it’s done so you have to time it yourself. I checked in on it every 5 minutes & poked it w a tooth pick to make sure it was cooked all the way. You have to put the batter in fairly fast so they all cook at the same rate, my trick was to put the batter in a zip lock bag and cut a small hole in the corner & it worked great not making a mess & doing it efficiently. When I was done I unplugged it and wiped it down w a wet napkin & it was all clean! I saw some pretty negative reviews about this product but really it’s all in the batter you use & how much you know it’ll rise & your timing. Get that down and it’s great.

Works great!
This was by far the best cakepop maker I have use. The cake cooked well and cleanup was easy. I used vegetable oil in the batter and to grease up the cakepop holes. Doesn't smoke or burn fast. However, I would advise you to place cake batter into a piping bag to distribute fast and get the lid shut so the batter can rise up into the top and cook evenly.

Is was used.
My biggest complaint was that it was used before. The tape opening it was suspicious, but on the grips on the bottom it was dirty from use.The item was easy to use, but inconsistent in cook time, a lot of eyeballing it. I've only used it twice, with different batter, so hopefully it holds up. The clean up was easy, except for the hinge area, can't use conventional scrub or it will build up grime. If it wasn't for the fact that it was used I would have given this 4 stars for price value.
