ROYALL LYME SOAPRoyall Lyme soap is an excellent product by any standards. It is a whopping 8 oz. glycerine bar, redolent of a restrained lime scent, not too sweet, not too tart. Glycerine locks moisture into the skin, unlike ordinary bar soaps, which remove it. As such, it is both cleansing and nurturing.The soap itself lasts and lasts. One bar lasts for 27 full body shower washes. It is also economical in that it sells for about $10-12 dollars per bar.It is quite a large bar. Only a man with a bear paw hand can grasp it to start. After 10 washings, it becomes manageable in the ordinary male hand.Although there are no problems in the bathtub, one may wish to cut the bar in two for shower use, as a half pound of slippery soap may not be the pleasantest thing to drop on one’s foot first thing in the morning.Highly successful, highly economical, and a pleasure to use. Recommended.

Smells exactly like the cologne/tonic, and it invigorates and cleans on par with other soaps.

I have been using this soap for decades with never a regret. I run out occasionally and try something else but always end up back with this! Great smell, leaves you feeling clean not oily. Try it and you will see!

My husband used this and when my son mentioned that he liked it, as well, was very pleased to give this as one of his gifts for Christmas. It has such a fresh fragrance ... always loved the smell when my husband used it. Not strong as some men's fragrances are AND women's. I would imagine, maybe, a woman might like to add a small drop ... it's just nice!

Have used this soap for a year now. Only soap I buy.

The bar is large and hard to handle but the lime fragrance is so faint that you can barely smell it while you are lathering it up. VERY disappointed. Scent is extremely faint and doesn't stay with you at all. I would not purchase this again. Go to somewhere like Marshalls and find one of the scented bars that they sell: less than $6 a bar and great, long-lasting fragrances.

Parfum tonique

Excellent Royall Lyme-scented soap. My first bottle of Royall Lyme scent lasted me from 1963 to 2008 (!): ~ I'm now almost half way through the second. I've only just started using this soap so am unable to say how long it will last. It's also not particularly cheap; but then neither is it too dear. The greatest point is that this is, I think, the only place one can get this soap in this country.
