Good bit of kit!!!
Took a while to arrive but we were right in the middle of lockdown in the UK and across Europe so it was expected. Since it has arrived I have a no problem with it. Took a little while to get used to, but its a really good machine for the price

Excellent. Worked straight out of the box, (don't rely on the instructions translation not too good)
After initial problems with delivery, which caused a lot of stress, the laser arrived.Although I was prepared for the size and had made a mobile stand for it, it looks very large in my workshop. That said it was well packaged only slight cosmetic damage to the paintwork, which was most probably done during packaging rather than transit. The items included were not as expected the quality was far better. The exhaust pipe was not the plastic blue pipe you see in other reviews and video, this was a much better quality and of a good length. The Air Assist pump and extraction fan are both incorporated inside the cabinet and both come on automatically with the controller, both work very well which also was a great surprise given the bad press some of the Chinese lasers receive. The manually adjusted Z axis moves freely and has a good range (300MM), my second upgrade will be a stepper motor and autofocus. My first upgrade will be a Honeycomb work bed. The work bed supplied is aluminium, perhaps not the best, as it reflects so much of the laser energy back into your work piece and causes some discolouration on the bottom. The instructions are not too clever especially those referring to the controller and software setup. the saving grace is the controller is RUIDA and Lightburn found it without trouble (I looked at the included RDworks supplied on a USB stick briefly, however, Lightburn wins hands down). A version of Corel Draw was supposed to be included on the USB, however, I could not find it.My first project was really to explore the interface, practice a few small engravings (loads of great artwork on the USB stick), after a few rookie errors I was up and running. The provided focusing gauge works well, just adjust the Z axis so that your work piece is positioned at the correct distance from the bottom of the laser tube... what could be simpler.I bought the 50 Watt laser with my eyes wide open following the advice from other reviews and YouTuber's and was prepared to undertake whatever it took to get the laser working safely. However, I checked all the connections throughout the unit and all were found to be secure, earthing was also very good with an additional earthing cable supplied (not required in UK). The lid has an interlink which stops the laser program instantly the lid is raised even a few millimetres. All cables and air assist on the X and Y axis are contained in drag chains, my Y axis drag chain is currently touching the casing and if left will wear the paint away if it does not wear the drag chain first. The fix looks simple enough though. There is a cool looking display on the power supply showing instantaneous mA Output, indicates laser on/off and also confirms water protection is on. Trouble is it is only accessible from the side panel to get to the power supply... why isn't it on the main case above the Control panel.Water cooling, the standard mini fish pond pump is supplied, which is still in the box, I decided to purchase a chiller. When I first switched on the chiller most of the pipe connections near the inlet and outlet leaked, easily fixed by tightening the jubilee clips, none of the water connections around the laser tube leaked.Summary,I am very pleased with my purchase, and very pleased with the way Z Zelus tried to help with the delivery problems even though they were unable to prod XDP to pass information (never use XDP again). I have now had a few days working with the laser and it meets my needs in every way... well done Z Zelus.

brilliant machine
This is the first laser that i have owned and all i can say is that it is amazing. the build quality is great ,with the built in fume extractor and air assist pump also built into the machine means only one plug so setting up is super easy. The only other plug being the water pump. The quality of the laser when cutting or engraving has almost left me lost for words. I would highly recommend any one looking for a laser to get this one.

Great Machine
I originally bought my K40 from the same seller and it was a great machine compared to some others. So when I wanted a bigger and more powerful machine I went to the same seller. It is so much better than the entry level K40s.Good laser head, linear rails, manual height adjustable bed, Ruida controller, good quality tube (true 80W).Built in air assist is ok but I am replacing with an oil free compressor to give better cuts.Be aware it comes in a big crate.Great machine, hope to have many happy hours engraving and cutting
