They are a nice set of knives for a beginner chef or to keep at home. They are nicely balanced. If you want some practical knives, go ahead buy them. But if you want high quality knives. Then look somewhere else. Overall I'm satisfy with my purchase. I work in banquets, so we do a lot of prepping and fruit cutting. And these knives respond perfectly.
