I had ordered this for an upcoming brake job on my car, unexpected as I was changing the differential fluid my car did not have a drain port, so I was able to use this to suck the fluid out.It's a great testament when you consider the viscosity of gear oil.Very happy with the product.

Nice product that I found useful, certainly works for a solo brake job. it works great for removing fluid from reservoir or other container, however when hooking to the bleeder screws and suctioning it doesn't work as well. always some air in the line actually on suction you don't get a full tube to verify it is air free. I thought it might be an air leak with the cheap little rubber boot that attaches to the bleeder screw, so I used the tubing straight into the bleeder screw. Still suctions weakly and doesn't fill the suction tubing fully so you can verify there is no air in system. I was able to pull new fluid through without issue just was not the suction I expected.Addl: I had a friend just now look it over and he got same results on his car, I did try pressing the brake peddle once while it was in suction and it did fill the tubing ... I'm now wondering if it is an issue. I will contact the seller to verify!.

Bled brakes well, but there are some key points. First, don't open the bleed valve on the caliper or brake cylinder unless the pressure is on, and close the valve before letting the pressure off. That keeps air out of the lines. Second, having a larger compressor is essential. I had to let our 30 gallon compressor recharge about 8 times on average just to bleed one line.Other people who say the jars are thin and cracked are probably mistaken. The jars are of high quality plastic. It would be impossible to drop a 14mm socket on the jar and crack it. I had to cut the hose end for the bleeder line because it came wrapped to tight around the bleeder jar and had a kink, but there was more than enough line to refit the hose. I bled the lines at 110 psi and there was no collapsing of the line. It's not heavy duty but it works. Not a perfect tool, but it works fine.

I mostly liked the price but there was one item that needs attention.That item is the transparent suction tubing because of the way it was wrapped around the handle it caused several KINKS. Kinks in a pressure tubing are not a problem but in a suction tubing it makes the tubing to collapse. I'll have to work out the kinks and/or cut out he section of the kinks.I haven't used the item yet because of the kinks.I'll be returning this item because the air connection will not seal.Dean

This an amazing product we had a little more suction power, but gets the job done when you’re trying to bleed the brakes
