Nice kit. Has almost all the things needed to do the project well. I advise sanding these squishies before painting to keep from having the paint peel off. I think it should include a piece of sandpaper for this reason.

Super cute squishies but the paint couldn’t be used as it was all dried out in the bottles. It doesn’t say what type of paint it is so it could maybe have been reconstituted with some water, but not sure. We used our washable paints crayola paints and it seemed to work fine (though we never got them wet afterwards). If paints had been useable this would have been a 5!

My daughter used a gift card to buy this as a birthday present. She would likely give it 5 stars, she loved the paint, the glitter, and the jewels. And truthfully, it kept her busy for three days after school. That said, there was glitter EVERYWHERE. Even after the paint had dried, glitter was flicking off.I’m not sure that she’ll ever be able to actually play with the squishes, but she sure had fun painting/decorating them, so I’m giving it 4 stars.

Pros: Nice, good sized squishies that don't smell bad. And fun glitter and gem stickers. The paint brushes are also of good quality.Cons: Paint was clumpy and dry and didn't work. Did an exchange and same thing with the second box. Kept it anyway because my daughter likes the squishies. Also, the bracelet things are kind of a strange add on.

Waste of money! I bought this for my 9 year old daughter, because she has been begging for squishies, and put several on her wishlist that were already painted, and she wanted them just to paint over them like that YouTuber does. I know this sounds terrible as a mom, but I refused to pay the OUTRAGEOUS price for those things just for her to paint over them. Then I ran across this DIY kit and thought jackpot! It's reasonably priced, and a kit to paint squishies which is exactly what she wanted to do anyway. When I say don't waste your money I mean it. She painted one, let it dry, squished it a couple times, and the paint immediately started peeling off. Literally all of the paint peeled off! She had more fun playing with the paint that had peeled off than she did actually painting the squishy. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the paint tray and paint brushes are good quality. My daughter told me that she needed sandpaper, because that's how that YouTuber does it. If that is the case they should include sandpaper in the kit.

These were a birthday gift for my neighbors daughter she’s 10. She requested squishy toys and when I saw that she could decorate and color them to her liking I knew she would love it. She did on the day after she received them and has recolored areas as her mood changes.
