UPDATE: I've had this set for 1.5 yrs now. I love these skillets. The nonstick is still doing great.I use the 8" pan pretty much daily and the 10" & 12" regularly.I have to say, I have overheated the 8" twice. It has affected the nonstick a little but it's really only noticeable when frying over easy eggs. But again, it's my fault for letting the skillet get way too hot.I would still highly recommend this set to any home chef.**************************************I haven't had this set very long but, so far, I love it. 5 StarsVery nice weight, good thick walled without being too heavy.Good heat distribution, entire skillet gets hot fairly evenly.Heats-up quickly, the aluminum core allows the skillet to get hot without burning any oil/fat.Excellent non-stick surface, so far. I was easily able to make crepes without any fat in the skillet.Easy to clean, only area I've noticed that may be a little hard to keep clean is on the outside where the handles are attached, but that is pretty common with most cookware.If you do much cooking at all you should invest in some high quality cookware.High quality Nonstick, that lasts, is the most difficult to find. I tend to replace my nonstick every 6 to 12 months, if I'm able to keep it more than a week.I have high hopes for this Blue Diamond set, but I haven't had it long enough to know how it will do long-term.So far, so good though....I'll try to update review once I've used it for at least 6+ months.But for now, I would recommend Blue Diamond to friends, family or any home chef.

Very high quality. Easy to clean. Handle doesn’t get hot when I use them.

Great Pans, solid construction. The lid handle (knob) gets dangerously hot. Will need a pot holder to remove from a pan being used. The handle for the pan itself stays at a comfortable temperature even with prolonged use and provides good balance at mid grab. Used mostly for steak cooked on medium high with extra virgin olive oil (says not to, but haven’t had any problems). Had no issues with the coating even with a chard almost forgotten steak. Been using the 11” skillet for about 2 months on a daily basis and still looks and cleans like new. No scratches even with a metal fork used for flipping. Haven’t used the other 2 yet. The 3 stars for heat distribution is for lid only. The knob for lifting the lid gets extremely hot. The pan does have excellent heat distribution. Used on an electric stove top with “old fashioned” coil burners.UPDATE: After 1 year of use.Changed to 5 stars for durability. Had the absent minded cook burn steaks into carbon and the pan suffered minimal damage. It can still be used but switched to the deeper pan. I don’t know how others are having the issues they reported. Or if they are even the Blue Diamond brand, but the skillet performed better than any other non stick I have owned before and I’m 55 so it has been quite a few. The deep pan in this set is also performing better than I expected. Will recommend and buy again.

Even though the pans aren't as non stick as advertised, they are very easy to clean and they do put a nice sear on cooked foods at a medium heat. I like them and would buy them again.2 years later, they aren't non-stick at all. I have to scrub them even after re-heating with water as their store recommends. I still like the way food cooks, but they are a pain to get completely clean.

These pans are shockingly good and after a few weeks of near constant use, I absolutely love them.I see reviews talking about how they don’t work or lose their efficacy and I feel it’s important that people know these pans should not be used for cooking above medium heat; though they say they’re oven safe don’t put them in an oven over 350F; despite using ceramic, it is important to not use metal utensils; and lastly, despite them claiming they are dishwasher safe, they will last a lot longer if you hand wash them only. But with how non-stick they are you’ll find that hand washing is pretty much the only thing they’ll need.They do few a bit thin, and they heat quickly, but it’s manageable and I recommend taking time to familiarize how the pans react to your range.The bottoms of the pans have gotten scratched up from the grates of my stove, but I could care less because these are meant to be used and not displayed.If you care for these pans, you should get some longevity and reliability out of them.

I ordered these before reading the instruction that said "Apply oil/spray before cooking". In my mind, I think of 'non-stick cookwear' as being just that. Needing to add oil/spray to the surface before cooking is NOT what I consider 'non-stick'. Even when adding 'Pam' spray, I need to scrape baked on residue with a nylon scraper to get it off.ZERO stars for this set. I bought a different brand set at Costco for $19.99 that DOESN'T require a pre-cooking 'spray'. Works GREAT!

OMG. What is not to like? These pans are incredibly easy to clean. They are extremely scratch resistant. Cooking in them is so easy. So is cleanup. And they are beautiful.

Bought these for my son for Christmas and he loves them. Says they are great and super easy to clean.

I love this cookware - easy to clean, not too heavy and looks nice too!
