Had an installer wire everything up for me so can’t give accurate description for ease of installation. But, the installer couldn’t figure out how to mount switch box. There were no instructions for the product. I had to watch a YouTube video to switch out the buttons. I had to modify mount provided, because hood would not latch due to lack of room for latch. So, I used longer screws and bar provided along with old plastic tv mount spacers, shaved down on one side and two self tapping screws. I predrilled switch box to make it easier. On a better note, materials used in switch box and connector box that goes under hood are solid and sturdy. Just poor design on switch box mount. Hope my mod helps someone.

Switch module doesnt fit an 07 sahara.Interfers with passenger visor. Will not sit straight on roof hook. Right side hangs down. Gonna take a new bracket of some kind.

After running the wire to the switches, the switch box would not fit flush to the plastic panel on my windshield. I tried with out the screw mount and it worked fine. But when you use the screw mount on top to tighten the switch box into place. The bottom of the switch box sticks out. And the screw mount is needed to keep the switch box in place. Being that I had everything ran and installed. I left the switch box in even tho the switch box is not flush. Still looks great to the passengers eyes. But an eyesore to me.

I managed to get it to work but the bolts that screw into the switch box are Allen bolts and with the weather stripping over it you can’t get an Allen wrench in there so had to use pliers to tighten a round bolt head... if it had bolts to get a box wrench on it would be 5 stars

Does not fit 2014 as the holes for the power wire and controls are right where it sits over the computer.Furthermore if you have the cold weather package (good has padding underneath it) the cover hits it and pushes it all the way up into the hood. It would take only once for someone to accidentally let the hood down to fast and this would put dents in your hood. Never mind the fact it will eventually rub a hole into the insulation and hit the hood.Overall I really wanted to like this product, but sadly fit and finish was poor.

I’ve installed switch pods in several jeeps both mine and friends. The quality on this one is a little shoddy and it took some modifications to wiring to get it installed properly.

Functionally great - does exactly what it says. It's made for LHD vehicles so the power cables are comically long for a RHD Jeep, but that's not a big deal.Quality feels mediocre. The switch covers feel cheap and brittle. The screws which hold the switch panel are inaccessible to tighten. The signal cable has large end connectors, making it quite difficult to feed through the firewall.For these reasons it feels very much like a copy of a higher quality unit (which I've previously had) produced on a budget without real world testing, despite being more expensive than some of the better units.I don't regret buying it and it works, I just wish it was.....better.
