We have 4 kids and live in San Antonio, which means there is a LOT of outside time throught the year. One of their favorite things to do is draw with chalk all over the back patio. Decided to purchase these to see how good they were since they were the most cost effective option. You get a LOT of chalk in here. We only pull out 1/4 of the chalk at a time and let the kids use them up before we pull out more. It's been a couple months and we're only halfway through! The color, while not the brightest or most vibrant is pretty solid. You get good coverage and a good mix of colors. Would live to have some more shades of "inbetween" colors, but they blend well enough as is.

This chalk is surprisingly pigmented. You can do one pass and there’s a solid line whereas with other chalks I’ve used multiple layers are needed. I bought the pack with extra attachments and I’d say do not do that. I spent like $10 more and they don’t fit the chalk. The single chalk holder (which is all I really wanted because I’m not a fan of feeling chalk) only fit the chalk if you really squeezed it shut and once it was in you couldn’t move it so really useless.I’d recommend buying just the chalk and skip the attachments.

The media could not be loaded. Used this for a wall mural. Good chalk, and I’m picky about my chalk.

This box only had a few broken pieces and was packaged well. Great variety of colors at a great price.BUT there is no black. The black that they advertise is a medium grey that is slightly darker than concrete.In the photo the BLACK that is black is SOHO brand the BLACK that is gray is this brand.If you want a great black you need to go with SOHO Urban Artist brand but you will pay up for it.We do a lot of chalk for fun and my kids trace all their images in black to make them pop. The image of the drawings are to show a real black and is not this brand.If anyone comes up with a box of all black (real black) 15 4” sticks they will sell a lot of it as black is most used and I am SO TIRED of buying kits when all I need is black.

This huge box of chalk has a large variety of colors and is very easy to hold. My son has enjoyed drawing on the sidewalk every day since we are home more now. We go through chalk very fast these days so I needed to find a large variety that would last for a while. I highly recommend!

The packaging is wonderful. Sturdy, secure and padded. No broken pieces, draws easily on pavement, and doesn’t break when you’re using it. Definitely will order again when ready to replenish.

My kids absolutely loved this giant box of chalk. It was perfectly packaged with an array of colors that made them even more excited to start playing. If you have kids or need a gift idea for a kid, this is a must buy!!
