2 Pack Replacement Filters for Personal Space Cooler Ultra Air Cooler and for NexFan Cooler (Not for Pure Chill Cooler)

Having a Arctic Air Pure Chill, the only filter on Amazon that is the right one could not be sold in CA. because it doesn't meet their standards of removing particles. That's about as stupid as it comes being that it's just a small table top that's mainly for getting wet and freezing it to cool down, but it does help some anyways. So just below on the Amazon page was these two that are the same length and width but is 7/16" thicker. Inside the tray on both sides is the little backing for the original one. All I did was use my solder iron with a 3/16" slot style tip, figured which way it goes in and melted a notch in it so it would slide in place and not be able to move. The red arrows point to the backing and groove I put in. Really easy for those who are mechanically inclined. I'm a retired General Contractor who has a lifetime of experience with just about everything. So bottom line is if you can do what I did then you'll have thicker filters that holds more water and with two plus the one that came with my Arctic Air, I rotate as needed. Remember that it's yours too make work and don't think you can get a refund if you mess up. You could always just cut the backing piece and just set it up front if all else fails.

I used it for my air cooling fan & very easy to install & works great!! Not sure why it couldn't be shipped if i only ordered one replacement filter, but when i ordered teo replacement filters there was no problem having it shipped to CA, even though the filters were both the same type of filter!!

I had to buy a pair, because the unit I bought a year ago did not come with one, I realized this when I went to go use it. But the one I purchased for my son came with a filter. Filters could be at a better price but I have no choice but to buy one for the unite. I have no issues with the filter, it fit perfectly and I could take it out and wash it for reusing.

I have searched all over Amazon looking for the correct filter, not finding it. This filter is way too big, and costs me half the price to return. So I'm stuck with something I can't use, but can't return. Not sure what I plan on doing at this point, but I'm planning on reevaluating my prime membership.

I have the nexfan on my desk at work and my filter was getting old and gross so I ordered these. Immediately one fell apart. Threw that one away as I could not put it together. The second one also kinda fell apart but I was able to put it back together. Other than that it seems to do what it is supposed to do. Just made VERY cheeap.

As advertised. Would recommend.
