Yes, It works very well on cats. Our first recommendation to use any of our products regardless of the pet is to give your pet enough time to get used to the product. Here is what we recommend for the best grooming experience. 1- Always turn on the grinder for a few minutes to make sure your dog or cat becomes familiar with the product. Give your pet their favorite treats to associate it with the nail grinder. 2- Select the appropriate sized port and get your pet in a comfortable position. 3- Start with the low speed of the grinder and only hold it against the nail for two or three seconds at a time. 4- Continue the process until the nail is shortened. 5- While trimming, keep rewarding the dog or cat.
