Great screws
The tek5 tip is nice and sharp. Bought these to install conduit on steel beam about a 1/4 thick. If you feed it straight it went in pretty well. Would buy again

I thought I order 2'' self tapping screws.
They were to bee 2'', don't know how I ended up with 1 1/2'' screws, butt they'll bee used & that's why I didn't return them...

Self tappers
Works well, the finer thread for thicker metals that won't get stuck and snap off. Just should of bought the longer ones

Drill slow
Attached siding to sch 40 1 3/4 OD pipe. Drill slow, cuttings should be peeling off, increase speed and let impact work as threads begin cutting.

Worked great
I used to mount adjusting feet to some steel work benches in stead of drilling and tapingTook one tenth of the timeDid not have to use drills and tapsEach screw took 5 secondsWould recommend

Great screws!
These work fine - no problems drilling and after 200+ screws, no heads popping off or any of the other problems common with cheaper screws. Definitely would buy again.

First Great & Then Let Down
Updated:The first 50qty I ordered were AMAZING! So much so that I came back and ordered the 1000qty. Well now I am seriously disappointed! It almost feels like a "bait and switch" moment, because the second batch barely works on anything thicker than 11 gauge steel! Most of the screws strip their threads and then just spin and spin in the steel. Then I have to break the screw head off (because it won't go in or out at this point) and make a new hole. I have to predrill the hole to thin the steel out before using the screw. It's annoying how different the two orders seem to be in quality, even though the screws look identical! I wasted $250, for the hassle. I can't get through new 1/4" mild steel, at all, without drilling it to a much thinner thickness. I think the built in "tap" on this batch of 1000 must be flawed or something, or the steel quality of the screw changed drastically; one or the other.
