I have a Great Dane, and anyone who has a large dog knows that slobber and water sloshes are part of the package. I have purchased "mats" for under the water fountain previously, and while they may absorb, they then dry out, crack, and end up slimmy. I had to throw the last two away. THIS "mat" is the best thing for my purpose. I place it under the dog's water fountain and all the water that sloshes is contained with the large lip. It is a hard silicone and perfect for my use. The second one fit two cat food bowls AND her water fountain. She doesn't slobber, but the design is perfect and she doesn't mind! The large is large .. perfect size for us. Cleaning takes a scrub brush, warm soap and water, but that is because of the dog's slime and not a product issue at all. When it's the last "mat" you'll ever purchase, the price is worth it!

I bought this for our two (2) Corgis water bowl. They love to drink but constantly push the bowls and water spills over. We had a simple place mat on our laminate floor but we noticed after several months that the water under the place mat was damaging the laminate. The laminate was splitting and bubbling. This mat was a godsend. My large dog is an extremely messy drinker and was leaving puddles on my floor every time he drank. Bought this to catch the water and it has worked very well. The raised edges are deep enough and slanted so that any liquid runs back into the mat instead of reaching the floor or collecting under the mat. It stays in place while the dog is eating and drinking as well. Also easy to clean.As others have mentioned, it takes a bit of work to completely remove the sticker. While the bone shape is cute, the indentations on the sides to create the bone shape mean you need a bigger mat than you would if it were a rectangle.All in all, very happy with this and my now dry floors.

This has proven to be a godsend for our dogs. I was so tired of constantly wiping up the moat that would develop around our dogs' water bowl that I was desperate to find something that would work. Other trays had sides that bent back easily or bottoms that slip all over the tiled floor. But this tray is sturdy and easy to clean - a winning combination in a house with 2 chihuahuas, a lab/beagle mix and German Shepherd. Now the water stays inside the tray, the sides are holding up well several months into regular use and rinsing and washing it out as needed is easy peasy. It's cheap and it works - stop comparison shopping and buy it.

The media could not be loaded.  Great size and super cute. Works for my very messy drinker. I bought a large for her water and another for her food. Both bowls would have fit on one tray but if her bowls are next to each other she gets food in the water. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the stickers are very difficult to remove and the first tray came cracked. I bought it as a verified pre owned and the condition was “like new” but there was a big crack. I returned it and bought 2 more but one of those was cracked as well, but I kept it because it is not noticeable. I will say that in both cases, the boxes were damaged so it could have been the fault of the delivery people and not the manufacturer

This is the second time I have purchased this same pet mat. I still have and use the first one but found that I could use a second one while the other one is being washed. The flexible silicone mats are good but don’t offer support like this one does. I think I have about five of the flexible ones taking up space in a closet somewhere. I have a cat that tips the water bowl and the contents go all over. With this mat I can carry it like a tray over to the sink to dump out the spilled water, and also put full bowls on it and carry it back over to their feeding area. The flexible mats are harder to keep straight and so the water spills all over the floor on the way to the sink. It is very easy to clean and holds up well. I wish it came in a gray but I have been buying the tan as it is a neutral color. This mat just makes life a little easier! Disclaimer: I paid full price for this item both times I purchased it.

I used my hand for reference. I got the large size. Finding a spot was hard for me considering it's size, but dogs bowls fit on here with plenty of space to spare. I enjoy the raised edges that catch all the water that my dog has dripping from his mouth after a visit to his water bowl. Great product and a great decision! Definitely get this is you want something that will last and won't mold if you forgot to change the towel that may be where the water bowl is now. Easy to clean too!

Great product! I have two pugs that don’t seem to even drink the water, it just goes straight on the floor. This is the best mat for them. The hard plastic makes it great for dumping the spilled water and for cleaning. I highly recommend this for any messy dog. One down fall is if the water bowl doesn’t have the rubber on the bottom the bowl will slide around.

Now, how excited can I get in reviewing a plastic pet bowl mat? Actually, quite a lot, because it's £5.99 really well spent.The perfect size to place the Border Terrier pack's water bowl on it, and prevent water getting spilt and dribbled on the kitchen floor.Substantial, good quality plastic. Pleasing on the eye. Does the job.

Great to but the dogs bowls on to stop water and food getting onto the floor.

My poodle likes to use his water bowl as a bath and now it captures most of the water he spills.
