Bio Sleep 6 Inch Cotton and Wool Fiber Futon in Full

I have had this twin futon mattress for 3 months, and its just as soft as the first day after I bought it! There is no unpleasant smell from the wool, in fact the mattress smells quite fresh. I sleep with the mattress directly on the floor, and find that it is perfect support for my back. At first I thought that the mattress was one inch too short, but when I pulled it out from both sides it became the correct size. As soon as I stop pulling, the mattress reverts to a slightly smaller size. This is fine for me, but other customers should be aware that it may seem an inch too short. Overall I am very happy with this purchase :-)Update: I have now had this futon for 1.5 years and it is just as soft and pleasant smelling as the day it was delivered. A wonderful purchase! I highly recommend this futon !

I REALLY love this cotton/wool mattress without chemical treatment. It's cozy and thick. My only problem is that I would love another but the price has since increased $200, to essentially $500. If I could, though, I would support this Made in USA company again!

I wanted a healthy futon mattress for my occasional use twin bed, I work irregular schedule and sometimes have to sleep alone. Within one month I slept on this mattress less than 10 times. It seemed too soft and fluffy in the beginning, but I thought it would somehow settle. And settle it did. Last night was the last time to use it, by morning my hips were touching the slats of the bed. In the morning my back hurt like never before. And before your mind goes to my weight (because like me, you're probably searching for that healthy mattress filled with natural fibers, nothing synthetic in its composition, and you think you might have found it here, and you really want to like it) - I weigh 165 lbs. Not skinny, but also not the reason for a mattress to dissipate from under me.I started the return process. Apparently, the only way to return this mattress is at my own expense. BTW - the return process requires the original packaging. To take the mattress out of the box you will have to cut the box into pieces. I hope your luck is better than mine. At least you're making an informed decision.

I do not like to give bad reviews, but I was so disappointed with this purchase. Back in January, I decided to replace my old Futon Mattress which started to sag in the middle so I found this one on Amazon: Bio Sleep Cotton and Wool Mattress Twin Size, 39" x 75" x 6".Unfortunately the actual measurements are: 36" x 70" x 4". So disappointed but rather than deal with the hassle of returning it, I decided to make it work by custom making a cover to incorporate the mattress as well as additional layers of fabric to increase the thickness and length. It's okay for now, but it sags in the center just like my old mattress did and it definitely isn't as firm . Actually, I would have been better off keeping the old one.

I am not pleased with this mattress. It is very soft. I returned it. Please verify with the seller or call BioSleep for details. I called BioSleep in Portland Oregon and spoke with the owner. I just need a firmer bed for my bad back. Good luck.

This futon is incredibly comfortable. The wool top gives great heat distribution. I've had similar mattresses that cost twice as much and were exactly like this one.

Hmmmm. I wouldn't give it a bad review. It's very well made. It did smell like sheep(pee?) at first. No lie. But the smell went away after a few days. Very thick and well sewn together. It personally isn't what i needed because it's too firm. My back still hurts but i could say it might have to do with co-sleeping with a toddler that wants to cuddle all night :) I'll probably put something on top for more fluff. But i like it. I appreciate that it's not toxic.

Good material inside. Very thick. Warm in winter and cool in summer. Great for my back. Smell good. The shape still the same after few months.
