Still great after all these years...
Brought back wonderful memories of college, when my neighbor played this album over and over way too loudly. Much more pleasant in my own living room, trying to explain the beginnings of rap and hip hop to my young son, and why artists are still sampling this wonderful album. If you are looking for another bit of nostalgia, there is a near future police novel, Trickster's Thunder Trickster's Thunder (Trickster Chronicles Book 1) , that is a throw back to the cyber punk revolution that started about the same time this album came out. In fact, listening to King of Rock while reading this novel would be an excellent trip down memory lane - on a Harley.

King of Rock!!
I remember this back when I was a teenager. It always brings back great memories for me. They were the New Jacks on the block back then. These young rappers today don't have a clue as to what it took to do what they did back then. Cuts like "You Talk To Much" and "Can You Rock It Like This" are awesome cuts ... the beats are tight. And then there is the classic "King Of Rock" ... what can I say. I still bump it like it's fresh out the box.

Gets Old Quick
Gets old after a few songs. I can’t tell the difference between any of the albums. Maybe I’m too young for this to seem ground breaking.

Can't believe I was missing this CD from my collection. It's RUN-DMC, what else needs to be said?
