Industrial Pipe Clothing Rack Dress Hanger by William Robert's Vintage

When I first assembled this rack, it easily flopped over to one side or the other under the weight of heavy items of clothing. I was really disappointed and considered returning it since I needed something heavy duty. BUT WAIT!I realized it was falling to the side because it was weak at the base—and that the support leg pipe at the bottom front of the base could be forced one more rotation around (you assemble this rack by screwing the parts together clockwise) and that that stabilized the rack. Now I have probably too many items on it… but it’s still standing!So anyone in the reviews saying it’s not stable should probably give force tightening the front support a try. That might be the issue.

As a boutique owner, I need to be sure that racks do not easily tip over and can hold some weight. Not only does it need to hold the weight of clothing, but people also hold themselves up with racks. This was so easy to put together and sturdy. It took me less than 10 minutes to take it out of the package and have it together on the store floor. I ordered a second one after seeing how outstanding the quality was in person.I just ordered a larger rack from this company because you get what you pay for, as I learn time and time again. At first I was reluctant to spend this much since I have bought from other companies that were a little cheaper and well....I am replacing those racks with these ones here. The assured quality and confidence in the rack is well worth it.

Easy (no tools needed) assembly. Sturdy once assembled. Feet will “level” if needed. For reference, this rack will hold 10 pants hung on pant hangers. I bought two racks, one for the bedroom to use putting together the next days work outfit and the other for the laundry room to hang just-dried clothes. Only negative is the hanging rod end cap should be larger so hangers won’t slide off. I prefer thick hook hangers so this probably wouldn’t be an issue with thin hangers. This is one of the best products I’ve purchased through Amazon. Trying to decide where else I “need” another one of these racks!

Purchased this item for my laundry room for clothing I prefer to air dry rather than put in the dryer. If I hang more than 3 items on it, it falls over. Had to place it leaning into the wall. I think it would be stronger if I could tighten it but the powder coating is on the threads and I can't get it to tighten down any more than it is. Not sure what to do with it. Not an easy item to pack up and return.

This item arrived faster than anticipated and is very well made. It is exactly as pictured. Very heavy and matched iron bed in spare room. It didn't come with assembly instructions, but super easy to put together. Love it!!

Was looking for an alternative wind chime stand for a set of very large and heavy wind chimes. Found this beautiful and sturdy stand. It’s perfect for what I was looking for. And VERY easy to assemble. Love it.

I purchased this rack to hold three ballistic vests. The racks concept worked and did not let it tip but the pipe seems to lean forward under load. Not sure how this item will hold up in time. I do not recommend if total hanging weight would exceed thirty pounds.

When the order arrived it was missing parts to put it together. Called the phone number and spoke with a gentleman who was checking into it and was supposed to get back to us and we have not heard from the company since. We are stuck with half a rack. Will not purchase anything from this manufacturer again
