Amazingly Good Facial Polish
I really liked this facial polish which is so far removed from the facial scrubs of old where you felt like you were applying a mixture of overnight oats and brick dust to take off ten layers of skin - okay I exaggerate but you get my drift! I am pleased to say that The Facial Polish by Sienna X is nothing like that. The scrubby granules (technical term!) are tiny and you only need to apply a small amount of it to work. I love how gentle it is but yet also how effective it is too. Afterwards your face feels super clean, soft and more invigorated too. It has a pleasant, delicate aroma and it is a real pleasure to use. Even better than that it is a multitasker as you can use it as a mask too. The only slight problem is, because the particles are so small, it takes quite a bit removing to make sure you have got it all. It’s not a massive problem but the first time I used it I went to put on some serum afterwards to what I believed was my clean skin but I could still feel some of the granules despite having washed it off and applying toner. It just means I now know I need to be extra thorough.Although it may seem a bit expensive for a facial polish as you only use such a small amount it should last quite a while. As I say I really like this and I would go so far as to say this is the best facial polish or scrub that I have used. It really suits my skin and I love the way it makes it feel. This is definitely a product I recommend.

Lovely natural exfoliator
This comes in a neat screw top pot which I really like as you can easily get the product out and there is no waste at all. The pot is in a security sealed cardboard box which is fairly plain looking. The product is light and creamy and is a very light grey/white colour. It is gently exfoliating with finely ground pumice - no nasty microbeads in here. This is 98% natural ingredients and is vegan friendly. This smells really natural and fresh and has no Parabens, Gluten, Artificial Colours, GMO, PEGs, SLS, Petroleum, and Mineral Oils. You only need a very small amount for each use so it should last quite a while. It can not only be used as a facial scrub but also as a mask - you could use the scrub and then leave it on as a mask I guess. It makes my face look brighter and healthier and has had no adverse effects.

You aren't supposed to use acid at the same time as scrubs
You aren't actually supposed to use fruit acids and then a scrub immediately after, because it can do unintended damage to your skin (not necessarily visible to the naked eye, but I remember a Shiseido skincare counter showing me a microscopic close up of my skin the day after a scrub, and it wasn't good. Could see all the cuts and scrapes!)Other things you shouldn't use immediately after fruit acids are: Vitamin C, retinol and benzoyl peroxide. That said, I have gently tested this on myself. I used it for 5 minutes as a mask, which I could feel slightly tingling/burning, then gently used the mask as a scrub and rinsed off with water with relative ease.I don't have sensitive skin in the slightest. I found that it left my skin a bit pink but it was feeling soft, and allowed me to remove some small blackheads that had been trapped under my skin.Same as the Sienna X face mask I've tested, the scent is horrific. Really strongly perfumed hyper-floral type thing. Not nice. At least with this you don't wear it for very long.I would not buy this for myself, due to the combination aspect of the product and the extortionate cost compared with other very similar products.

Leaves my face feeling really soft and fresh. Invigorating.
I have combination skin, dry on my cheeks and greasy on my chin, brow and nose. I normally use a different brand of exfoliator that is ok, but this brand is so much better in every way. This consists of volcanic pumice minerals, I know pumice is great for removing dead skin, that is what made me want to try this, it also contains aha fruit acid, which is great for loosening dead skin cells. It does more than just strip dead skin, it hydrates and nourishes too as it contains panthenol, I normally use a panthenol cream after exfoliating so it is great to have it in one. It is easy to use, it comes in a nice, shaped tub with a wide opening that makes getting the right amount out is easy, you get no waste, and you don’t take out more than you will use (unlike tubes). It feels invigorating during use and my skin felt so refreshed afterward. I walk a lot in open countryside, wind, rain and sun of late meant my skin needed that extra help. The tub will go a long way as you don’t need to apply a lot. This is the best exfoliating cream I have used.

A thorough exfoliator
This scrub comes in a nice-looking jar which is boxed along with some instructions and a small plastic spoon which you can use to apply it if you want. The scrub has a faint fresh scent which is quite pleasant. It looks very solid at first and I worried that it might be too thick, but it was actually easy for me to spread and massage into the skin. Although it uses pumice as a scrubbing agent, it's not as harsh as I expected. It gives a really good exfoliation and leaves skin smooth and soft, though mine did go slightly red for a little while after use.Overall a good scrub, particularly for those who want something powerful, but I would be careful about using it on very sensitive skin, and the price is a little offputting!

good gentle exfoliation polish
This facial polish contains natural fruit acid (AHA) that help stimulate skin cell. There are some subtle volcanic pumie that are very easy to use. It doesn't dry my skin at all. The pomegrante enzyme help gentle exfoliate the skin. Overall the experience is good. It doesn't cause any redness or itchiness.
