Wraps up the IDW tmnt collection.
After this book there is a hard left turn to socially destructive propaganda.

Great collection of issues. This one was thicker than the usual volumes IMO.
I enjoyed these issues leading up to and including issue 100.

TMNT vol. 13
Wow! What an ending. The adventures of Rocksteady and Bebop is interesting. The rise of a new ninja turtle. The return of the Shredder. And the death of master Splinter. All to save the world. What next?

End of an era! Three options from here...
1. Stop collecting with this volume:It doesn't get any better. I believe the series started losing steam just a tiny bit from issue #61. Too many characters, way too many plot threads, and even more tie-ins, but still plenty entertaining until 100.2. Skip to the next larger, more interesting arc - "The Armageddon game".There are some rehashed ideas, as well as missed potential, but it's a decent arc, closing a plot thread. Start with the "Armageddon Game: Opening moves", jump to ongoing issues 130-139, "Armageddon Game: The Alliance" 1-6, and "The Armageddon Game" 1-8. These are collected on TPBs and a Hardcover.3. Continue with the IDW collection volume 14:"Jennika and friends" is a more appropriate title from this point on. The series meanders without a meaningful purpose in the "mutant town", which is a discount version of Batman's "No Man's land" and Grant Morrison's similar X-Men run in the past. This arc is dragged out - mostly boring, and at worst, grating.- Ever wondered how would it be if the Turtles were reduced to side characters, in a slice-of-life setting?- Do you like forced propaganda with even more characters thrown in? (With subtle and not-so-subtle subtext.)Not a fan of how we don't see the brotherly bonds grow stronger while dealing with the outcomes of issue #100. (The Northampton arc of the prior issues nailed a scenario akin to this better, along with another arc around the 85-90 issue mark, IYKYK.) They just exist, as more and more new token characters appear. All of this while Jennika is shoved down our throats at every opportunity. The change in the lead writer is uber-palpable. If you are amused by all of this, more power to you - check it out for yourself. Here are the highlights from this volume:- The art in "Shredder in Hell" by Mateus Santolouco is eye-gasm! The story is outstanding with supremely memorable moments as well.- Raph's macro series is perfection. Nails his character to a tee.- The main arc that started with issue #1 is now complete. Many other fascinating plot threads are also tied up satisfactorily, making it a splendid time to call it quits.

New means new
When I purchased something new I don't expect there to be any faults. There was a inventory sticker on the book. If I peel that off it will ruin the back cover. So I sent it back

After 13 Volumes, and 100 Issues, now may be a good getting off point.
For the first time in awhile we get main entry issues as the bulk as things build to an end.Sadly, the series will go in a direction that not all have liked, so this collecting issue #100 might be a good getting off point. While not all was brilliant (mainly the weak offshoots and mini stories) in this 13 volume deluxe stretch, this has been as a whole--the main story arc--the most enjoyable TMNT has been for me since the 90s!A thank you to Amazon for the great service, too
