Works fine, perfect for an electric oven
This is a 75C 14-50R outlet, that's designed to fit into a 2 gang 2 1/8" deep box. It *barely* fits in a 2-1/8" box, but it does. 2-1/2 would be a better fit. It does have clamp terminals, for 10 through 4 I believe, with a PH 2 driver needed, not hex. There's a torque value stamped on the fitting, and it's a good idea to make sure you're tightening down to that level. A loose connection isn't a good idea on any outlet, but especially not a 50A one.

It says Hubbell on the outlet
I don't know if this is a reject of the $70 Hubbell version but it's stamped Hubbell on it. Installed fine and didn't blow up when energized. We'll have to see about how long it lasts but I suspect it will do fine.

Looks great, solid construction
I wanted to install a NEMA 14-50 receptacle for an EV charger in my garage. All of the switches and receptacles in my garage are white with stainless steel covers. The Hubbell/Bryant RR450FW was one of the few NEMA 14-50 receptacles available in white. I like that it has a wiring terminal design that doesn't crush the wires directly with the screw. This receptacle, like nearly all NEMA 14-50 receptacles, does not fit in a standard depth electrical box. According to the Hubbell specifications, it requires a box with a minimum depth of 2-1/8 inches. I used a Raco 691 masonry box that is 2-1/2 inches deep. The photo shows the Hubbell/Bryant RR450FW test-fit into the Raco 691 electrical box with a Hubbell SS703 stainless wall plate.

I like it white
White matches the outlets in my house. This is not the industrial type but because it's Hubbell, I have no doubt that this will last fair enough. So far, I don't have any issues and been using it almost every night for 2 months now.

Good Value
It’s Hubbell but their consumer line (not industrial). The size is smaller, similar to what you find at HD/L but the lugs to tighten down are better and are stainless steel vs brass. I’m using it to charge a 2nd Tesla so it should work fine. Use the industrial grade version if you plan to heavily charge your EV every night, or even better, hardwire it. Eliminate a failure point. Do some YouTube research and you’ll see the cheap outlets failing overtime.

Excent quality 14-50 outlet
Got this to charge my Tesla. Same build quality as the expensive Hubble 14-50 but its made with steel instead of brass. Way better than the home depot outlet.
