There are 8 items (4 pairs). I already used two pairs to replace the hooks on two pairs of earrings I own. I wanted hooks to keep earrings safely in place while I'm wearing them, and these seem to do the trick. I have been wearing them for a number of weeks now and they haven't opened accidentally not even once (which has happened with similar type of hook before), so they seem to be very good quality. They're also real sterling silver, so no allergies. I liked it so much that I bought it again to replace the hooks of other earrings I own.

I used these as some lovely earrings I had broke. These did the job to fix them. Would also be good with some hand crafted earrings. A bit delicate but they still work well. I think they look a bit more classy than the big standard ones without a clip. I’m quite impressed the hinge bit works well too.

I don’t think these will last long. They are extremely flimsy.Obviously in earrings you don’t want or need anything too heavy but these are so thin the ‘cross over’ onto the other side it’s supposed to clasp onto.I think they may do well for children’s earrings if mom is putting the earrings on and off. (?)Delivery was good and wrapped well.
