Ok, so I had to wait a few months since I ordered when they were not in stock, but these are handmade & worth the wait! I had another dandelion paperweight in my wish list for a long time before I saw this one. It was larger than the one in my wish list & it was functional (unlike a paperweight) for only $10 more!I This is absolutely stunning & detailed; I also like that the glow is adjustable - even when not turned on, the base reflects overhead lighting, making it appear that it's on & you see the details from across the room.The base is a really nice way to showcase this dandelion & the finite details that were put into the packaging was awesome! (String closure box, reusable cloth drawstring bag, shredded paper to cushion - all very organic & came w/a free gift of butterfly post-its!) I originally thought that the base could be charged & you could put it anywhere w/out the cord & turn on the light, but that is not the case - it has to be plugged in. Not a deterrent in my opinion & when I reread the description, it does not state that tit can light up w/out being plugged in, so that's on me! The cord is well hidden in the back & if you wanted it in a window or well-lit area, you don't need the cord - it's still amazing. Highly recommend!

One of the most special gift I ever got! It's definitely more like a piece of art to me! The floating puff is so cool when the LED light is shining from the bottom in the night. Awesome stuff!
