I got these lights to cover our roof-tall shrubs in the front of our house. I ordered two sets & they cover our shrubs perfectly. Took me a minute to get all 4 light strings (2 strings in each box) in sync with the pattern we wanted. There is no remote, so you have to push the little button on the bottom of the solar panel to select your light pattern from 8 choices. 2 days later, 2 of the shrubs' strands that are next to each other were out of sync with each other, as well as the 2 strands on the other 2 shrubs. I fixed them easily by placing my hand over the solar panel so I could see what they were doing as I clicked thru the 8 sequence choices. A few evenings later I noticed that those same 2 strands were out of sync with everything else once again. I blamed my husband...of course! It wasn't me, so... Well, he finally figured out that the remote for his electric bed was changing the pattern of the 2 light strands that are on the shrubs outside of his bedroom window! Hilarious! (AND, I was RIGHT to blame him! LOL!) So the lights out in front of our house will NEVER be in sync on our 4 shrubs. Well, I suppose sometimes they are! Never know what 2 of them might be doing! Gives our neighbors something to talk about I guess. I've tried a couple of other remotes that I have for lights I use indoors & I've found one that also works on these lights. Doesn't help us, because as soon as he raises the head of his bed in the middle of the night it changes the pattern again. Oh well. We absolutely LOVE these little lights! Very bright & sparkly! And even a bit mysterious!

There is nothing to dislike about these solar lights. Easy to string up with many light show options. Bright lights and they continue to glow for at least 6 hours after dark. I purchased them last year as a surprise outdoor small tree decoration because we just moved and didn't have the ability to get an indoor Christmas tree. They looked so pretty that I left them up all year in West North Carolina weather. Lots of heavy rain and a range of very cold to very hot. The battery has lost its ability to fully charge after 12 months, but I think we got a lot for the money even if we need to replace every year. Purchase with confidence. I'm leaving this review as I prepare to buy my new set.

The wire makes them easy to stay wherever you put them. And the choices of rythms, makes it so cute.And the line is very long.

I bought a two pack to put in the roof of my new gazebo. I was sold on the different mode settings and the fact that it’s solar since the gazebo doesn’t have power to it. Unfortunately one of the packs does not work as it should. The power box has to be perfectly positioned or else the wiring gets cut off somehow and turns off the device. Big bummer considering we have high winds here so I know the box will get a little knocked around and I’ll have to adjust it constantly. I will try to still use both packs and disperse the one that doesn’t work properly so if it goes out it’s not super obvious. Will update with pics once I get them installed on the gazebo.
