Go ahead and search on Amazon and the rest of the internet for a street number sign. Can you find one that is two-sided, reflective, the numbers large enough (4 inches) to be seen from a car or ambulance from the street? If you can find one with all those qualities, which I don't think you can, what does it cost and how easy or simple is it to install? I wanted a sign with all the characteristics I previously mentioned and I did not want to pay through the nose for it. I bought a "u-post" fence post from a box store for just over $4. I had nuts and bolts and washers already from previous projects but you can obtain them easily from any hardware store. The only slightly fiddly bit of the project is pounding the fence post into the ground somewhat straight from all angles. A bit of trial and error and it was in and upright and plumb enough to install the sign. It is dirt cheap and highly effective. Yes, the overall effect is "Early I-95" but it guarantees guests, fire trucks, ambulances, Fedex drivers, etc. will be able to find our house day or night and whether or not there is a snow piled high over the mail box by the plow.

This is a nice sign for the money. I was going to make one myself buying a DIY Kit, but there are numerous complaints about flimsy numbers and the challenges of applying them to the sign straight with the proper spacing. This sign comes with the #s on it and to make it better they are on both sides at 4 inches. The other signs are typically only 3". I bought a $4.50 Six foot green metal fence post and 6 bolts/washers/nuts for $1.50 to mount the sign. I had to drill 2 holes (one to get the bottom hole that came predrilled in the sign to line up and one for the middle just for extra support since I have this posted in a windy area). You can't go wrong here.

I had accidentally ordered the sign in green when I wanted blue. The next day, I went back and ordered the blue one I originally wanted and contacted the seller to cancel the green one. There was no fuss or muss, and the order was cancelled efficiently.Comes with two self-drilling screws and was easy to mount.

I placed this near the road to serve as an additional address sign for delivery companies. Very visible. A good size. Print on both sides. I affixed it to a simple wooden stake I drove into the ground next to my rose bush.

Just put up the sign so haven't experienced it at night so not sure about the reflective part. I was prompted to write a quick review as the sign arrived with a slight damage (bent at one corner). Also the number are aligned towards one side and not centered. Would have been nice if it was centered. Also only two screw holes just on the sides which could have been along all 4 corners. I just used adhesive tape to mount it on the porch.

Love it, only had 3 numbers which meant I was able to have larger type making for better visibility. Had I gone thru my county they wouldn't have made that adjustment in space and just used a smaller metal plate.

Sign arrived in good condition and was easy to install with the two provided screws. The quality was good, but the numbers were a bit misaligned. It wasn't a major issue . . . and compared to the other offerings on Amazon at the time of purchase, I would likely buy this again . . . but the alignment of the numbers would be a small area for improvement.
