No Problems Here - 3mo. Review.
Awesome filter. Read the directions, installed on my home and used included adapters to install in my travel trailer. Water tastes like fresh air. The filter output is kinda slow, but it has lasted far longer than the PUR filter, that cracked, and tastes better than Britta. Not sure what it filters, but like I said, it tastes like clean air.Installed easy. The house just screwed in. The trailer needed the inside adapter. No leaks, no problems.Just replaced the house filter today. I didnt recognize that the filters were warn out until I replaced them. The filters recommend 3mo. I went 4mo. Water still tasted good, no bleach smell. But after I replaced, breath of fresh water!Tips:When pulling the pin out to allow flow to the filter, dont try and push the pin back in when you are done. Just turn off the water. Its pressure forced and will shut off on its own.Read the directions to install the filter and replace cartridges. All the info is there. Its easy, but you may need a wrench to replace filters. It seems to embed. Not a bad thin, keeps it from leaking. Replacement cartridges come with directions, read them. I did use a socket wrench to pull the cap from one of the filters, but thats in the instructions. After you have everything back together, let it run upside down to make sure there are no leaks. If so, tighten them up!All and all very happy! Water tastes so good, and the filters last 3mo, Better options out there? Maybe. But this is compact and plug and play, and tasted better than PUR or Britta.

It is what it is, and not everyone might want that
I have used the pitcher/tap version of Brita, the tap version of pUR and because of my dissatisfaction over both decided to try this. What makes this filter different- and ultimately better than any others within financial reason is what makes it difficult to maintain. It relies on a SUCTION to develop a seal, making the seal for the filters become seemingly impossible to unscrew. Knowing this was a problem BEFOREHAND saved me so much trouble and I think it is IMPERATIVE that everyone looking to purchase this product understand that while it works IMO better than anything else it is not easy to change the filters. An elderly person or someone who has poor hand strength will find this impossible to open. Two pair of pliers are needed and even then I used glycerine to thread and lubricate the filter covers. Does it sound like a chore? Only because it can be so you need to know that. Because it is worth it. The water, after over a month of steady use is DELICIOUS. I have no issues with leaks and the flow is good and has not diminished over 5 weeks. Again, it is wise to use proper placement and allow the water suction to work. Let the hoses breathe and the crisp, clear clean H2O will flowwwwwwwwww. It's delicious and it is a hassle if you don't come prepared because it is a good piece of equipment, no quick fix like a pitcher but the distinction makes it worth it because the quality is unmatched. Great buy!April 2017 update: I replaced my unit after approx. 3 years steady service & changing filters roughly twice a year. Got the black one this time and works better than ever. I still haven't seen a better alternative to this overall. I get a jug of clean fresh water inside 4 minutes. Still beats pitchers and replacing filters. If you can't/don't want an under-the-sink system this does the job.

A little slow to dispense. No biggie
(Updated 5/10/19) Time to change out filters on this countertop unit. But I have to say:I've been getting nearly weekly emails from this co. since my original purchase about a year ago. "Half off", or "Oops, we sent you a huge discount by mistake, but we'll still honor it" or "We've extended our discount for one more day"..etc..etc.. If you order direct from their website, its actually a few bucks more than through Amazon. I paid $64.71 originally through Amazon. If I follow the email spam for "half off", I'm directed to their website, where they show the original price at nearly double, and with the "half off" promo, it drops down to anywhere from $65 to $90 bucks! In fact, as of today, I can buy the exact same entire unit for $57.13, OR I can buy JUST the replacement filters for $59.99!? Huh??I feel like Aquasana is more of a marketing company than a water filtration company. Which sucks, because I really like the unit I bought! The water tastes good, install was a breeze, but given all the "bait and switch" slick marketing campaigns going on, I'm much less confident! Why are your prices SO different? Why not just offer the same item at nearly the same price across all of your seller platforms? Give or take a few bucks. I understand that Amazon might take a cut of your sales, but ordering through your own website should be just a tad less expensive? It makes me think the focus is more on marketing and web clicks, and less on good quality products. Now, that said, should I buy 2 replacement filters for $59.99, or just toss my entire current unit, plastic housing, metal fittings and tubes in the trash and buy a whole new unit for $57.21? I'm not an extreme environmentalist, but this just seems silly!! Unit arrived on time, with my prime 2 day order. Everything was present, all parts accounted for. I had to buy an adaptor from home depot, for about 8 bucks (It's the taller chrome one on the right) , as the 2 they included were not long enough to fit in my faucet. No big deal there. Install was a breeze, once I got everything tightened down, using a bit of Teflon tape. Ran for 10 minutes as instructed. After that, just good clean water. Vegas tap water has some funky taste, but this definitely passed my taste test. Almost like soft water. Only thing is, it flows slow. Not a HUGE deal, but worth noting. I timed 2 minutes to fill a 3qt container. My workaround for that is, I spent several minutes filling up my 5 gal upside-down water jugs, and placed them on my dispenser. As my pic depicts, I zip tied the tubes along the faucet so I have full swivel ability, and no kinks.Last noteworthy thing, I emailed the company to inquire how many gallons do they recommend before changing out the filters. 2 days later, I have not gotten a response. (Week days) After actually reading thru the pamphlet included, I saw it was 450 gallons. My fault, but still, I'd hoped the customer care response would come within a 24hr period or so. Let's hope I get something soon? Overall I give 4.5. If this thing goes good, I'll consider a shower unit as well.

A must have!
Needed a way to make the water in my master bath taste better for a sip of water in the middle of the night. Found this online and decided to try it out. It was very easy to install and we were shocked at how good the water tasted. We will not be without this now. It’s definitely worth trying! Was very surprised how good it works!!!

It hooked up easily. Periodically I have to tighten the faucet attachment
Received the purifier quickly. It hooked up easily. Periodically I have to tighten the faucet attachment. The flow is moderate but it is a counter top design. The convenience of it far outweighs the extra few seconds I have to wait. The water is clean and tastes great. I am very pleased with the quality of this product. I would recommend it.
