I recently purchased the Zinus Paul Double Bed Frame from Amazon, and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised by its quality. This was my first time trying an Amazon bed, and it’s just as good as anything I’ve bought from Ikea or John Lewis.The bed frame is sturdy and well-made, with a sleek design that fits perfectly in my bedroom. Assembly was straightforward, and all the parts were clearly labeled, making the process quick and easy.The frame provides excellent support for my mattress, and I’ve noticed no squeaking or shifting, even after a few weeks of use. It’s also at a great height, offering ample under-bed storage space.Overall, the Zinus Paul Double Bed Frame exceeded my expectations. It’s a fantastic value for the price, combining style, durability, and ease of assembly. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a reliable and attractive bed frame!

Firstly, I was reluctant to buy a bed frame off Amazon, originally I was looking at fold-out temporary frame for my new rented apartment when this one caught my eye. After reading the promising reviews of this frame. l decided to go for it. Now I have used it for a few weeks I can finally leave an accurate review.Packaging: The package is heavy (over 10kg) it is a two person lift.Construction: The bed was easy to construct, and came with simple instructions that were very easy to follow. All parts were counted for, and the package came with a brilliant tool to tighten the screws on the bed quickly and efficiently.I recommend getting two people to construct the bed, it may be challenging to construct alone solely for the fact it helps to have someone to hold stuff in place while another tightens the screws. But for two people, it was a breeze and constructed in under an hour.Appearance: Fully constructed, it is sleek and simple in design, regardless, the frame looks absolutely amazing. I am so happy with it, it came at a reasonable price and looks more expensive than what was paid. Especially now I have all my duvets and pillows, it looks so homely.The wooden headboard has a smooth finish all over with no rough edges, so no splinters likely.Durability and practicality: What I love about the frame is that it’s absolutely silent. The wooden planks don’t creak, even when getting onto the bed. I haven’t heard the metal frame squeak or make a noise once. The screws and joints don’t rattle. It’s absolutely silent and very solid in construction. Very sturdy and strong. It’s also very comfortable with my mattress. The frame offers plenty of storage underneath, I’ve even put my suitcases under there with plenty of room to spare.Summary: I wish I’d picked the frame sooner instead of going back and forth! I genuinely can’t fault the frame at all and I’d recommend it to anyone, especially if you live in an apartment and don’t want a noisy bed to annoy your neighbours!

You definitely need at least two people to assemble bed. I'm surprised at how easy it was to put it together. The instructions were straight forward. To my surprise alongside the mandatory Allen key it came supplied with a tiny drive ratchet to for tightening the screws in the harder places! The only tricky part would be laying in the slats - the slats are not individual but strung together and you have to sort of roll them on evenly on top of the velcro that are on the inside of the frame (for those that do buy this bed make sure to start with a gap first when laying on the slats!).So far it seems sturdy enough! It hasn't been long enough yet so only time will tell.

I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this company deserves it! The bed arrived yesterday in an incredibly well-packaged box - no damaged corners, no ripped sides as you sometimes get with these heavy furniture items delivered. Delivery time was exactly as stipulated. Inside it was all sensibly arranged and instantly clear what to do. Each piece was individually wrapped in plastic to avoid any scratches etc. There was a well-designed vacuum-packed bolts and tools pack and a comprehensive set of instructions. Included was a welcome card and a couple of greetings cards to send to friends if wanted. I laid out all the pieces and got to work, following the instructions, although it was so straightforward that it was pretty obvious what to do. The jewel in the crown was the included ratchet spanner! They give you a standard Allen key, but also this ratchet spanner which made tightening up each bolt a breeze. Very, very cleaver of them and generous. Once assembled, the bed was very strong, stable and squeek-free. The model I chose has a fantastic headboard in light-coloured real wood, which looks much more expensive than it is. The bed is a sensible height, such that I can use storage boxes underneath, yet it does not look overly high, just normal. So many of the other metal bed bases I looked at on Amazon are too low for comfort. One last feature of this bed that has clearly been very well designed is the wooden slat system. On previous beds I have owned you had to screw down each individual slat at either side, meaning some 28 or so screws to be done up or undone each time you moved house etc. On this ZINUS bed, they use a system of velcro strips which efficiently hold the slats in the correct position with no effort. Additionally, the slats come in two bundles, already joined by velcro sided tape; you just drop them into place on the assembled frame. Genius! The company deserves a pat on the back!

This bed is excellent - very easy to put together, it is strong and sturdy. Everything is delivered in one box and instructions are very clear.I am very happy with this product and am happy to recommend
