I bought this thinking it may be a cheaper alternative to buying another l’occitane key. I can’t say I’m disappointed as for £2.39 I didn’t have massive expectations but it’s not quite long enough for the l’occitane products. Still very usable, and feels fairly robust. Apart from being around 1cm shorter than I’d have liked I can’t really fault it.

I like this product very much. I have bought 4 over a period of time. I use them on all tubes whether plastic or metal and different sizes. If I a have flexible plastic tube I use it to get the last bit of product out of the tube. On metal tubes especially prescription creams, I can use it to roll the tube from start to end. I also obtain a continuous squeeze which is useful. I use the key for everything from handcream to toothpaste and prescription creams. Saving the NHS a bit too! I have never had a problem detaching the key from the wound tube and they don't rust. There are cheaper ones on the market, but these are good quality and I like Upcircle products - ethically produced.

They look the part and have good credentials, however I’ve found that I attached to 2 different toothpaste tubes, a tomato purée tube and an acrylic art paint tube. The key doesn’t grip well, therefore drops off the tube or tube unravels immediately. ?? Sad….

Does the job AND feels nice. Slightly more expensive than the super basic ones, but no harm in having something pleasant to the eye laying around.Honestly, you forget how much some packaging sucks and how unfirendly it can be to weaker hands until you get these. It is frustrating not being able to fully use an expensive product because someone decided that a damn metal tube was a great idea. Good for you if you have strong hands - personally, I loathe metal tubes and their sharp angles, and several doses of product lost every time because I can get them out.This is a small investment that will pay itself the moment you'll discover how much you were throwing away. Get 2, add one as a gift for a friend - these are handy in the bathrooms and in the kitchens, good for a painter and for a DIY enthusiast.Could be slightly longer, but it does the job perfectly nonetheless.
