After watching Matti Haapoja’s video, I decided to take a chance and buy the Deity Microphone. I have not been disappointed. The sound quality is not bad! The sound isn’t too different from the Røde VideoMic GO. I love the fact that this has dual capsules. This sets the mic apart from others (besides the price). Definitely would recommend this to anyone.

It's designed primarily for vloggers, but the best kept secret is that input pass through. Being able to have a secondary source from a wireless lapel mic pass through and combine with room audio from this is amazing for run and gun stuff.We use it ALL THE TIME for that reason in lower-budget projects where we have to be quick, agile, and capture as much footage and audio resources as possible for the edit.

Awesome vlogging mic!! For the size and price you can't beat it. Returned my Rode and I'm Deity D4 Duo now.

Great quality of sound! I use it with my Canon M50 and it's perfect!

Only one of the two mics work, it records to only one channel. Tested a second mic, and that one completely doesn't record at all.

The audio quality is pretty stellar, wish it was a little more narrow of a cardioid pattern, but seriously a great little mic

Great microphone for money can buy with this around but I send it back because there was a lot of noise when the wind strongly hit the microphone horizontally.I bought a rode videomic NTG with ws11 when I sent back my d4 duo. Am I recommend dou? yes and no. Ntg cant record backward tho.

This microphone is PERFECT!! ALMOST Perfect!! Sound is great, the options are great, concept itself is great. BUT!! Even with the dead cat (wind muff) you can hear the wind rumble as if there were no muff at all. I suspect the little input hole being the problem. If so, Deity could solve the problem with a new wind muff covering this input. DEITY!! FIX THIS!! I am so in love with the back and front capsule concept!! I NEED THIS !!

This microphone sounds great on a DSLR camera but when paired with a smartphone only one of the microphones works.I would look elsewhere if you are planning on using it with your smartphone. Amazing sound of your using it with a proper camera.
