Never consider buying.
No beep on starting or when temperature is reached, should be ten beeps. Takes over three minutes to reach temperature, not rapid as claimed. Can't see current temperature display or flashing C or F symbol when using orally or other methodsThis is second purchase, one from Amazon replaced what I thought was fault on original. Turns out instrument is just useless.
