Smells like plastic
Upon opening the bag I was hit with the very pungent smell of plastic or some horrible burning rubber. Very strange. Definitely does not smell anything like cherries. Or even something edible. The smell was so strong and off-putting that I never even tasted it.I had high hopes for these cherries after buying the dried blueberries from this same brand (the best dried wild blueberries I've ever found - and believe me I buy a ton of blueberries). I suspect that the bag I received was an anomaly, since I have never had this problem with the blueberries that come in the same type of packaging. That said, I won't be trying again with the cherries after wasting $16 on an inedible product.
