Best Tic Spray On The Market
Would highly recommend for anyone that takes their dogs on walks in the woods. Will spray on me and the dog before going for a hike and have not found a single tic on us since. The price is kinda high for the small bottle but worth it. Also it smells great so no need to worry about smelling like chemicals all day.

Ticks are dangerous!
I recently contracted Lyme disease in my own backyard and it was a startling. Besides my lengthly recovery, we also worried about our new puppy and the wildlife we purposfully attract to our bird feeders. I am a beekeeper so when a product says it is safe, I am truly depending on the companies honesty. Cedarcide has proven to be everything they promised. My husband sprayed it on our yard more often than recommended because of rain and the forest that is along our fence line. We also sprayed it on our clothing.

This works…..for the most part
If you want this product to work, you need to follow the directions and really spray whatever you’re spraying thoroughly. And if you put it on a pet, do so outside because it’s hard on their nose at first. It’s mostly works if you follow instructions and are liberal with it.

It works
I love that it's working but requires more than one application. I don't use poisons of any kind in my home or yard, but this is NOT SAFE FOR PET UNDER 20 POUNDS. So while it isn't exactly a poison, it is something I have to use when my cats are not around, and that can be tricky.

Successfully used to repel ticks for 5 years in the heart of tick country, upper Midwest USA
Three of us have used this faithfully every day for the last 5 years, once we transition out of our winter boots and until we're wearing them again. We've lived in the woods (had a tick on my blanket within 20 min of laying it down the first time after moving there) and then in a suburban-ish area where our next door neighbors have gotten ticks on them in the backyard. The only times we got a tick on us (two total), we hadn't used Cedarcide those days. The 4th person in our family uses DEET and has gotten ticks on them. Love that it's safe for my kids to use and apply. When we lived in the woods, I'd have the kids reapply in the afternoon when going back out just to be safe.Note that sometimes the quart spray bottles can leak when tipped over, from the neck and not the sprayer. The wind had knocked it over on our deck and it spilled most of an almost new quart overnight (gah!). We are now decanting to a medium size amber glass spray to hopefully prevent this issue.

It's literally the best!
I had chigger bites that were driving me insane from the itching. Sprayed this on & it Instantly stopped itching & kept them from biting me further. It stinks but it subsides after awhile. I would rather stink like cedar oil that have the itchies!

Kills fleas not ticks
This does not kill ticks! Much less repell them! I live in the country and I have bird dogs. This claims to repell and kill ticks. Nope that's not the case it kill fleas.. pisses off your dog and leaves the ticks thriving.

Extra tick protection for the north east USA
Even with flea/tick meds, my dog was coming home with ticks. This is a kid and dog friendly topical spray that really does seem to repel them from getting on you in the first place. Bonus, gnats and mosquitos don't seem to like the smell much either. It's a bit strong in smell, sort of like being inside a cedar chest or rolling in pine needles.
