It works. I didn’t think it would when I opened the package because it looked too narrow for a modern mtb frame but the width is adjustable. I watched the install video for the Shotgun seat and as far as I can tell they’re exactly the same. One issue is the metal side bars bend if you tighten it down but the seat will move if you don’t. I tried to strike a balance but in the end I’m not confident that it’ll hold up on trail rides. Also, all the bits under the seat that make the angle adjustable were painted together so I had to take that apart. Getting it back together was kind of a pain. The foots straps are held on by a little plastic plug and it fell out right away. I can either glue the plug in or just not use the straps. They’re too big for my 1.5 yo anyway. Despite the issues I would definitely buy again. Glad I didn’t pay $150 for the exact same thing elsewhere.

Not sure if I received a previously used item, but one piece looked scratched superficially, and my item came with no instructions or warranties on how to use it. Luckily the design is identical to the shotgun kid's bike seat. I followed a shotgun kid's bike seat youtube tutorial to install my bike seat. It does take some calculating to see how your child will position themselves onto it, so do test it before actually hitting the trails! My kid loves the seat!

Works really good to mountain bike with my 3 year old. 3 stars because the foot pegs have a cap on them that is pretty easy to loose then it makes the straps not stay on better. Could have been better design. Did not come with instructions. Seems to be a cheap copy of the actual shotgun seat. Should have just gone with that but this will work for the time being

Very sturdy and good for biking with a little one. We use it for our 3 year old so he can ride along. We bought an add on but as it began to tear we decided on this and it works out a lot better and nothing extra to carry around when we go biking.

No instruccions fine, but a least they can upload a youtube video with the instructions. The item doesn't match the one on Amazon. But considering the price is half than the others is okay to get.

Does not adjust to fit a wide bar. Will only fit 1.5” diameter and smaller.

This bike seat is so much fun for my little boy.We have been out riding around 5 times going on long bike rides and even visiting the skate park.This seat puts him up front in between your arms while holding on to your Han bars.Safety was my main concern when buying a kids seat and this one allows him to sit and have a front view.I would say it's nearly impossible for him to fall off.I get smiles, looks and curiosity when im riding around my town.I cannot express how much fun it is to ride around with him!There is no bumping knees or interference with peddling.
