Wow, so difficult to review Tic Tac Tile! Perfect lightweight solution for RV kitchen but a royal pain to install around a window! We are experienced DIY’ers and have accomplished many tile projects. So glad I was applying to vinyl wall covering as it can be placed and replaced numerable times as I soon discovered when I hit the Bermuda Triangle at the far side of the window! Making all grout lines match within a defined area was no fun. I lucked out completely for a visually appealing finish. I think I hid the deficit well. I used a rotary cutter, paper cutter, a box cutter and scissors. All worked well — the box cutter most consistently. I found that I needed to have tiles cut precisely with scissors for window curves ahead of time. I just couldn’t trim accurately as I went as I saw others do. I didn’t have too much of an issue removing backing when I peeled the tile away from the backing rather than the reverse, bending the corner back and forth first to prime it a little. Would I do it again? Yes and no. I love the result for an RV — so yes! The scale of the subway tile is perfect and keeping it clean is a cinch. The result is beautiful and is sure to last for several years. The no?? I would never install in a bricks and sticks as it can’t compare to the durability and quality of ceramic tile.

Thick and super sticky which is great for longevity purposes, but there is zero room for error because of how strong the adhesive is. I started with 5 sheets and used all 5 although I only actually needed 2.5. The other 2.5 were trashed because the adhesive either folded in on itself or when peeling it got a ridged ripple in it. If possible, I think having an extra set of hands would make things much easier. Otherwise, I love the look. I used it to personalize my children's play kitchen so I can't comment on it's durability in a real kitchen around real water.

I am by no means a handy person but I found these easy enough to install. The end result does have some odd spots but overall I think it came out pretty good. When cutting, double check everything. The very first cut I made was on the wrong side of the sheet so be very careful. Being that this was a bathroom I had some interesting spots to work around but I took my time and thought through it. The corners were the biggest challenge for me since my walls are far from straight. Caulk became my best friend to make it look clean and neat. If you are using caulk, tape it first to get a clean line. I installed these tiles about a month ago and so far they are staying fine. I have a few tiny spots where I noticed they were not sticking but I use superglue. Before putting these up I also sanded the walls so I think that helped. My only major criticism is how these tiles feel. They feel like rubber and you cannot smoothly run your hand down them. It also makes wiping them off a little bit of a challenge. I used 5 packages of tiles and have a 6th unopened box incase I run into any troubles with them sticking.

I wanted to take a picture to show you guys but please just believe me when I tell you: BEWARE! We nearly had to pay our landlord because of the damage the product caused to the wall (luckily she wasn’t paying attention during the walkthrough!). Because of the pattern, the tiles Must go on the wall completely level on the first try. No redos! I used our baseboard as a guideline, but it was crooked— so the tile placement was also crooked. I tried to correct, but to no avail— unlike any other wallpaper I’ve applied, these tiles are impossibly sticky and a headache to work with. When we moved out of the apartment and removed the tiles, the wall basically came off with them. The space where I put the tiles will definitely need to be refurbished. On a positive note, they looked pretty and were easy to wipe clean. I would not recommend these for a DIY job. Maybe a professional would know how best to finesse them.

Absolutely pissed that I hit reorder for this item because I didn't initially order enough and my reorder tile order was completely different than the original order tiles. It makes me wonder if I had originally ordered the 3 packs would they still have been different? Why would you do this? Now my kitchen is going to look like Dr. Frankenstein's. Thanks for nothing. Product itself is easy to use following instructions which is a damn shame.

This product changed the entire look of my very outdated kitchen. Grateful that this was an option & that it was somewhat reasonably priced. Has been hard to put into corners under cabinets & occasionally hard to undo the backing from the product. Again, very grateful to have this option as my kitchen has made me feel sad every time I walked in for a long time.

We ordered these for our fireplace; they've been wonderful and we've also received many compliments. But you can, however, see the bend in the grout line behind them - from the previously installed tiles. We rent our home so we can't/ aren't changing tiles. This time, I wanted to order them to install in the kitchen but I really didn't want the grout line to show again. So I got this drywall compound for $5 at Walmart(just get the biggest and cheapest container you can find). Then I used a food handling glove and just slapped it on focusing on the grout lines and filling them in - I know used more than I probably needed to. Then my hubby went behind that(once the drywall mud was dry and firm) and "chiselled" the extra off with a wall putty knife and hammer(both shown here). It left a perfectly filled in grout line that lies flush with the previously installed tile and the sticky tiles look amazing! We are even considering re-doing the fireplace soon!Hope this review helps someone else!😊👍

I ordered 2 10-packa of these tiles and we didn't notice until we were already into sticking the second pack that it was a different color. They both say "pure white" on the packaging and was the same Amazon order. However you can see in the picture the tiles look more grey on the left and more white on the right side.Aside from the inconsistent color, the backing was hard to peel off a few of the tiles and the installation was much more tedious than it appears.

These peel and stick tiles are amazing!! I included before and after pictures to see the difference in the kitchen. They look like real tiles and were easy to use. The finish looks professional! It did take some time to prepare the surface to make sure it’s flat by removing the sealant and wall sockets. I did make a few mistakes so good to get about 10% extra for wastage. I worked from the bottom up and found that the best way to get them aligned correctly. It was also easy to cut the stickers with a scissors or handy knife. It took about 4 hours to complete. I also re-sealed. Very happy with the way it turned out and highly recommend. These took about two weeks to be delivered as I’m in the UK and they came from US but was definitely worth the wait. I ordered 3 packs and one of the packs was a bit damaged and dirty but once I wiped it with a wet wipe the dust came off. I also measured the area to calculate the square meters and then used a calculator online to decide how many packs I would need. It’s easy to clean and wipe off any spills or dirt. I love the glossy effect as it reflects the light. The sticker is very adhesive so don’t think there’ll be an issue with it coming off the wall. I also watched a lot of YouTube videos before hand for tips and ideas of how to apply.
