Quarrow Turtle multi 8 in 1 pocket tool
Purchased as a Christmas stocking stuffer. It might come in handy for most guys. Great for tackle box for those that enjoy the hobby of fishing.

handy, small size
I plan on using this tool when I'm away from home. It's very small and can handle jobs of equal (small) size. It isn't especially easy to open or close but nonetheless it is worth the price.

Nice little multi-tool
This is a nice little multi-tool. Appropriate for light jobs. Folds up perfectly and securely for carry on a key chain.

Take the cash out of your wallet and light it on fire. Watching that would be more worthwhile than buying this.
You could probably use two sticks and a rock more effectively as a multi tool. The good -- The plier head portion seems solid. If you weld some real handles too it, you could have a mediocre to low quality mini plier. The bad -- Pretty much everything--The plier handles are made of extremely thin sheet metal that flexes. The handles are warped and bent straight out of the package. One very small screw is all that attaches each of the thin sheet metal handles to the plier head. Any actual use of the pliers (even minimal) will bend and flex the handles. I would not be surprised if the screw pops through the handle with any kind of real pressure. Even if the handles and attach points were built well (which they are not), they are very awkward to use because of the shape.-- The "tools" do not lock in place. They don't even have springs to hold them open like basic old non-locking knives. They just swivel on a rivet, no positive hold open at all. Once they loosen up, they'll be flapping around freely. Now, it does have a spring tensioner built in but, it is so poorly made that the spring doesn't even contact the "tools" at any point. Useless.....-- The knife has about 3/4" of blade that is sharpened so roughly that there is about 1/32" of burr on one side. The File actually has a decent little bit of rasp to it, that is, on the 3/8" length of useable area. The Phillips driver is literally twisted. The four divisions swirl up to the tip and the sizes of each is different. They obviously hit this thing on a polishing wheel so it looks nice and shiny. Unfortunately, that also happens to round every single part of the driver making it 100% completely useless. The flat driver is again completely rounded, even the tip. There is no flat part on the flat driver to speak of.No offense to the guy that put this in his PSK (personal survival kit) and in fact good on him for even having one but, this thing is a joke. If you had to rely on this in a real situation you'd be up the creek without a paddle. Just because it's small, shiny, and has a couple extra "tools", doesn't mean it's worth using in a kit that you may have to rely on to save your life. Get a leatherman squirt or at least a decent small knife.I understand that this is cheap so I shouldn't expect much but, like I said before, I could use two sticks and a rock more effectively than this and those are free.It was a gift or I would return it immediately.
G**!
Great for a survival kit.
I seen this in a BCB survival review and just had to get it! It's a good little tool for that kind of kit. It's made in china but it's stainless steel. Compacted it measures 1 3/8 by 2" slightly over 1/4" thick, open fully it's 2 x 3". When open the spring is a little noisy but does operate well. The knife needs sharpening, and the tools are rather small, but it's a great fit in a survival tin with limited space. You can also pick up at sporting goods like Dick's for about $6. I removed the little clip for more room in my kit. I didn't give 5 stars due to noisy spring that gives me the impression it might fail, it will still work without spring but not as easily.Bottom Line: size to cost to useability = Great purchase.
